  • Publication number: 20060036303
Abstract: A catheter for intravascular corporeal cooling comprises an elongated tubular member having at least one lumen extending therethrough for providing cooled blood, an inflatable annular balloon positioned on the outer surface of the elongated tubular member, and a pressure reliever positioned in the external wall of the elongated tubular member and proximal to the annular inflatable balloon, wherein when the pressure of blood within a lumen reaches a predetermined value, the pressure reliever opens to permit fluid to be released from the elongated tubular member. In other embodiments of the invention the catheter may have two or more inflatable annular balloons that are separately inflatable and/or the catheter has an insulative outer annular member.

  • Patent number: 4610349
Abstract: A four-pack bottle carrier requiring minimal gluing and materials, which can be readily glued up with existing machinery, which will lie flat after gluing and prior to erection, and which can be folded flat again after use. The carrier which is formed from a single piece of paperboard includes four side panels (12, 14, 16, 18) of substantially equal width, a side glue flap (26), and two pairs of opposed bottom panels (66, 68 and 80, 82). The upper portion of the side panels are provided with suitable die cuts (34, 36, 38, 40, 42) and cutouts (56, 62, 64) which facilitate the forming of the bottle dividers (94, 96) and a combined handle and bottle dividers when the bottle carrier is glued up and erected.

  • Patent number: 3994089
Abstract: A coupon bearing label includes a pair of coinciding similar panels joined along their bottom edges by a fold line and along their side borders by a suitable adhesive, and tongues project upwardly from the panels and are spot or line joined by a suitable adhesive. The back panel is cemented to a receptacle and the face panel has score lines or lines of weakening delineating a separable rectangular coupon, the bottom score line coinciding with the fold line. In an alternative construction, the back and face panels are joined along a pair of their side edges by a fold line and an intermediate panel is delineated from the opposite edge of the back panel by a fold line and is sandwiched between the face and back panel. The free side border of the face panel is separably joined to the underlying border of the intermediate border by adhesive. Separable rectangular coupons are delineated by score lines on both the face and intermediate panels. The panels carry any desired information.
