  • Patent number: 8221367
Abstract: A disposable urine control device for females during urination when in a crouched position. The control device is provided preferably folded flat and preferably packaged in a stack, each including an elongated flexible folded panel formed of disposable material and having side margins preferably narrowing toward a central portion from enlarged end portions thereof. A perimeter sealing bead extends upwardly from, and substantially continuously around the panel perimeter to provide stiffness and sealing against the labia majora of a female to contain urine within the perimeter sealing bead during urination. A flexible elongated conduit is connected at one end thereof in alignment with a urine drainage aperture formed into a central portion of the panel. When the panel and conduit are unfolded for use from a substantially flat folded orientation of the panel and a folded orientation of the conduit, urine is directed through the conduit into a toilet bowl.

  • Patent number: 7427238
Abstract: A golf club swinging guide releasably attachable to a lower end of a golf club shaft. The guide includes a housing having a stationary member with an alignment portion which is adjustably alignable perpendicular to the striking face of the golf club head. A wind vane is connected for free rotation to the housing about an upright axis of rotation oriented generally parallel to the club shaft. The wind vane, being responsive to movement of air, thereby visually aligns itself to the direction that the golf club is swung. Visual misalignment between the stationary portion and the actual direction of golf club swing at the moment of golf ball impact is discerned by an electronic circuit within the housing producing a sensorially perceivable output.

  • Patent number: 7356863
Abstract: A mattress pad positionable atop a rectangular mattress which better accommodates diverse weights and sizes of the human anatomy for enhanced comfort. The mattress pad includes a flexible bottom sheet having a size and shape substantially similar to that of a top surface of the mattress. A flexible fabric top sheet is connected to the bottom sheet by peripheral stitching along common perimeter side, head and foot margins. A plurality of generally side-by-side body supporting chambers are each defined by peripheral stitching and spaced lines of continuous stitching which interconnect the top and bottom sheets. Each chamber is filled with an open or closed cell urethane foam material. Preselected nominal thicknesses of each of the chambers provides the comfort and accommodation to each portion of the human anatomy.

  • Patent number: 7334279
Abstract: A mattress pad positionable atop a rectangular mattress which better accommodates diverse weights and sizes of the human anatomy for enhanced comfort. The mattress pad includes a flexible air tight bottom sheet having a size and shape substantially similar to that of a top surface of the mattress. A flexible air tight top sheet is connected to the bottom sheet by peripheral heat or ultrasonic weld sealing along common perimeter side, head and foot margins. A plurality of generally side-by-side body supporting chambers are each defined by peripheral sealing lines and spaced lines of continuous sealing which interconnect the top and bottom sheets. Each air chamber is individually and selectively fillable with pressurized air and thus capable of localized pressurization within the chamber. Preselected nominal thicknesses of each of the chambers provides the comfort and accommodation to each portion of the human anatomy.

Each chamber is filled with a loose stuffing of fibrous or synthetic material which is movable within the chamber and capable of localized accumulation within the chamber by manual body or hand manipulating pressure against the top sheet. Preselected nominal thicknesses of each of the chambers provides the comfort and accommodation to each portion of the human anatomy.

  • Patent number: 6941588
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically lowering a raised toilet seat pivotally attached to a back of a bowl of a toilet. The apparatus includes a preferably U-shaped support member to be supported over a front wall of the water tank. An elongated arm is pivotally supported at an upper end thereof to an upper end of the support member. A float is to be positioned in the water tank and is moved vertically on the support member when the tank is flushed. A movable member is positioned in contact between the support member and the arm and is attached to a flexible line which extends along the support member to the float. The movable member is arranged to pivotally move the arm outwardly when the toilet is flushed, pushing the cover and toilet seat together away from the tank a distance sufficient for the cover and toilet seat to then pivotally fall into a closed position atop the bowl.

  • Patent number: 6843731
Abstract: A golf club swinging guide releasably attachable to a lower end of a golf club shaft. The guide includes a stationary member having an alignment surface which, when adjustably aligned parallel to the striking face of the golf club head, automatically orients the visual intended line of flight perpendicular to the club face. A movable member is connected for free rotation to the stationary member about an upright axis of rotation which passes centrally through an enlarged clearance aperture through the stationary and movable members to facilitate installation over the grip area of the shaft. A wind vane extends laterally from one end of the movable member whereby the movable member is responsive to movement of air to visually align itself in a direction that the golf club is swung. Visual misalignment between the intended line of flight and the actual direction of golf club swing is viewable during a golf swing. Temporary securement of the alignment at the instant of golf ball impact is also provided.
