    Abstract: Article removal apparatus having a plurality of bearing members adapted to engage the rear surface of an article to be removed from its mounting member. The bearing members are attached to or a part of a flexible belt adapted to be tightened on a peripheral surface of the article to be removed with the bearing members engaging the rear surface of the article. A slide hammer is attached to the flexible belt, so that the impact of the slide of the slide hammer is transferred to the bearing members.
