  • Patent number: 7430232
Abstract: Method and apparatuses for broadcasting and receiving a programme are presented. A programme is broadcast from a broadcasting system. Broadcast programme-associated data is transferred from a server to a cellular radio network. The broadcast programme-associated data is transmitted from a base station of the cellular radio network at a specific frequency defined for the cellular radio network in such a manner that the transmission of the broadcast programme-associated data is synchronized with the broadcasting of the programme. The programme and the broadcast programme-associated data is received with a subscriber terminal of the cellular radio network in such a manner that a programme receiver of the subscriber terminal receives from the broadcasting path of the broadcasting system the programme and a cellular radio network transceiver of the subscriber terminal receives the broadcast programme-associated data at a specific frequency.

  • Publication number: 20060074966
Abstract: Programme survey system, arrangement and method are disclosed. The system includes three interfaces: a first interface receiving programme information on a broadcast programme delivered to a receiver over a programme broadcasting channel, a second interface receiving programme-associated data information on broadcast-programme-associated data delivered to the receiver over a data channel, and a third interface receiving control information on the broadcast-programme-associated data signaled from the receiver over a return channel. The system also includes a processing unit creating associatively programme survey information from the programme information, the programme-associated data information, and the control information, the programme survey information including comparative information on various parts of the broadcast programme and broadcast-programme-associated data.

  • Patent number: 6184494
Abstract: The present invention relates to a heating method and a printed circuit board comprising a heating element which generates heat required to heat printed circuit board components. The printed circuit board comprises heat conductor between the heating element and the component to be heated, the heat conductor receiving heat generated by the heating element and conducting the heat along the surface of the printed circuit board beneath the lower surface of the component to be heated. Furthermore, the printed circuit board comprises conductor parts which are narrower that the heat conductor, or which have a smaller cross-sectional surface area than does the heat conductor, and which restrict heat transfer away from the heat conductor to a component other than the one to be heated when the heat conductor functions as a ground plane or a signal path.
