  • Patent number: 10307700
Abstract: A contamination indicator is for filter elements (12) for fluids that are replaceably housed in a filter housing (2). The indicator has a fluid-conveying connection (58) to the interior of the housing (2) and possesses an indicating device (52) providing information concerning the degree to which the filter element is contaminated (12). A temperature-dependently active actuation device (50) is connected upstream from the indicating device (52) in the direction of fluid inlet. By the actuation device, the indicating device (52) is activated when the fluid temperature has reached a predefinable threshold value.

  • Patent number: 7926515
Abstract: A modular unit has at least one filter (10), pump (12) and cooling unit (14) fluidically connected to each other by a connection module (16) and connected to a tank unit (18). The connection module (16) opens out inside (22) the tank unit with a suction opening (20), together with the cooling unit (14) when the tank unit is connected (18). The filter unit (10) and pump unit (12) are arranged outside the tank unit (18). The modular unit can then be placed on and connected to a tank unit. The cooling unit protrudes inside the tank unit.

  • Publication number: 20070261737
Abstract: The invention relates to a modular unit, comprising at least one filter (10), pump (12) and cooling (14) unit which are fluidically connected to each other by means of a connection module (16) and which can be connected to a tank unit (18). By virtue of the fact that the connection module (16) opens out inside (22) the tank unit with a suction opening (20), together with the cooling unit (14) when the tank unit is connected (18) and the fact that the filter unit (10) and pump unit (12) are arranged outside the tank unit (18), it is possible to place the modular unit on a tank unit and connect it thereto. The cooling unit protrudes inside the tank unit.

  • Patent number: 5736045
Abstract: A filter element has a support member with a support tube which can abut a filter mat and which is provided with apertures for the passage of a filtered medium. The apertures are formed by the axial spaces between individual rings of the support member. The rings are supported by support walls dividing the interior of the support tube into individual chambers. Since the support member is rendered compression-stiff, it exclusively supports the filter mat when the medium flows through. The respective support wall is directly connected to the rings. Each ring with its closed annular shape surrounds the support walls on the exterior. The filtration capacity of filter elements can be improved and the weight and cost simultaneously reduced owing to the highly stable and compression-stiff support member.

  • Patent number: 4080043
Abstract: The invention contemplates an improved binocular telescope construction of the variety wherein a bridge provides articulated connection of the two telescope systems, so that by folding at least one of these articulated systems back against a side of the bridge, the instrument may be compacted when not in use. The invention is particularly concerned with provision of a single focusing drive for the focusing optical elements of both telescope systems, the drive being operative regardless of the extent of articulated expansion or contraction of the bridge-connected systems. The invention also features provision of such focusing by movement of optical elements contained within the overall telescope-housing length, so that such length does not change in the course of focusing. Various embodiments are described.
