Abstract: A device for the formation of croissants made of puff pastry or the like, said croissants being initially shaped into pastry rolls (12) starting from flat puff pastry, wherein there are at least two gripping or clasping and folding elements (13, 14, 15), connected by an articulated joint (16, 17) and suitable for being transferred, aligned with each other, onto portions of a puff pastry roll (12), withholding the roll (12) and being moved to a folded position thus causing the firmly held pastry roll to take on the form of a U- or crescent shape, there also being driving systems (25, 26) for the reciprocal movement between the at least two gripping or clasping and folding elements (13, 14, 15).

Abstract: A filtering device (1) for the particulate and volatile substances present in the emission gas of internal combustion engines, receives gas from the exhaust of a motor vehicle through a conveying duct (2); the device (1) comprises a filter (10) connected to the conveying duct (2) and a heat exchanger (3) positioned and connected so as to receive the emission gas from the conveying duct (2) and send it to the filter (10), a control valve (4), suitable for regulating the temperature of the emission gas entering the filter, by deviating an aliquot of the flow of emission gas coming from the vehicle exhaust to send it to the heat exchanger (3).

The transport unit (15) receives the divided and spaced product groups (13) and releases the divided and spaced product groups on belts (45) that continuously advance in the direction of a pusher tug conveyor (40, 41). The pusher tug conveyor is associated with and is a part of said conveyor (12). Motors (43, 25) for the pusher tug conveyor (40, 41), for the belts (45) and for the transport unit (15) are controllable in phase, by means of a common processor (49).

Abstract: An automated apparatus for loading and unloading motor vehicles, to be positioned between a loading platform and a vehicle positioning region, includes a frame movable longitudinally to the loading platform, a manipulator-conveyor unit provided with lifting and/or gripping devices and arranged on a support element rotatable through at least 180.degree., the manipulator-conveyor unit being extendable so as to be movable to a position above the loading platform and to a position above the load floor of a vehicle, features being provided for correctly aligning the support element with the load floor, a central processor also being connected to the apparatus. Sensors are associated with the manipulator-conveyor unit for sensing its movement above the support element and are connected to the central processor and to an actuator which correctly positions at least one pair of motorized wheels supporting the manipulator-conveyor unit.

Abstract: In a boxing plant for cones and/or conoids which at its inlet are disposed in groups of a certain number each, an apparatus for feeding groups of cones in an orientated and ordered arrangement to boxes comprises a first section (A) in which groups of cones (11) positioned on a container tray (12) in an essentially horizontal plane are orientated in a predetermined manner on opposite sides so that they all lie with their tails pointing towards the center, and a second section (B) in which they are discharged from the container trays (12) onto racks (15) and the cones (11) on one side are offset relative to the cones on the other side, and then moved while offset onto a central region (16) which can be opened in the manner of a sliding door above boxes (17) and in which the cones (11) disposed side by side in a head-tail arrangement are compacted (18) into matrices (44) having the same dimensions as the boxes and are then allowed to fall into the boxes by opening the sliding door.

Abstract: In an automatic plant for the production of products, such as food products, in which modular supports carrying a determined number of products are used. A high-capacity physical and/or chemical treatment apparatus provides a temporary storage facility sufficient to ensure continuity of operation and production of the plants positioned downstream and upstream thereof, even if one or the other is momentarily at rest.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of wrapping various products in packaging obtained from a strip. In the method, the strip is longitudinally folded along its center so as to form two longitudinal portions which are longitudinally coupled. The portions are then joined along transverse junction lines which define compartments having upwardly open mouths for inserting material. The compartments are then separated at the transverse junction lines, thus obtaining a set of independent bags which remain joined together at lateral areas near the mouth. The resulting bags are suspended from a conveyor travelling along a closed path in a loop. According to the invention, the path travelled by the bags is inside the path of the conveyor so that opposite corners of the bag mouths are brought together and consequently loosen the borders bounding the mouth so that metering means can be inserted along a circular portion of the path of the conveyor so that a preset amount of material can be discharged into the bags.

Abstract: A system for packaging into cartons cones for ice-cream and other cornet-like articles coming loosely from a production unit wherein in a first processing station (A) splitting of the cone feed main stream into a plurality of individual sub-streams occurs. In a second processing station (B) a temporary cone-storage field is made up, the cones being orderly marshalled in a number of rows, the cone axes being vertical with the cone tips upside down and the cones being closely spaced apart from each other. From said second processing station (B) the cone rows are transferred into a third processing station (C), wherein, for each cone row, a belt having evenly spaced apart bores is provided for receiving individual cones. Each belt is independently motorized for stepwise forward motion. As a predetermined number of bores in each belt carries as many cones as there are bores, a cone-grasping unit (E) draws the cone row and transfers it into empty cartons.

Abstract: A dam for a waterway comprises a plurality of panels of flexible and inextensible sheet material such as rubberized fabric extending vertically from the bottom to adjacent the surface of a waterway. The edges of the panels overlap and are removably fastened together to provide a series of attached panels which extends across the waterway. Each sheet is attached to a separate concrete base on the bottom of the waterway and to a separate floating cylindrical member ajdacent the surface of the water. Each panel can be repaired or replaced independently of the other panels.

Abstract: A collapsible and expansible barrage comprising a threshold structure dised at the bottom of the waterway, a metallic flap, provided with an upturned-glass type of air-tank, hinged to said threshold structure, and a flexible sheet connected at one of its end to the threshold structure and to the other end to the threshold structure; the flap and the threshold structure are further connected one to the other by means of a damped tie-rod.

Abstract: Manoeuvrable weir comprising at least one flap hinged to a threshold shel laid on the bottom of a waterway to be dammed. The flap foresees openings on its surface from which lead out conduits which debouch in correspondence of the threshold structure, creating over it a water current.
