The data may be collected together, and the standard video views may be a default or reflect a primary view or scene for certain content. The immersive video views may be adjacent or around the primary view, and are available for viewing based upon audience input. The data are blended temporally and spatially to synchronize and align them for virtually seamless transition between the standard video view and the immersive video views. Blending may be performed before distribution, after distribution, or some combination of these.

Abstract: Provided is a method for correlating individual action information with media content distribution, the method including obtaining data related to a presence of an external terminal relative to an output device providing media content, obtaining identifying information of a user associated with the detected external terminal, and storing, in a memory, data received from another party which indicates an action of the user at a virtual or physical location associated with a product or service presented in the provided media content.

Abstract: Current embodiments relate to generation/sharing of a snapshot of content that the user is viewing. Upon generation of a request for a snapshot of currently viewed content, the snapshot may be generated based at least in part upon one or more parameters and/or criteria included in the request and/or service generating the snapshot. Upon completion of the snapshot, a response that provides the snapshot or a location where the snapshot may be viewed is provided, such that the snapshot may be provided to particular sharing targets, such as social media platforms, electronic devices, email, etc.

Abstract: A multi-tiered approach to identifying digital content and acting upon the identification includes transmitting data from a device on which the content is stored or played to a first tier entity where the content and the device are identified. The first tier entity may use any one of many techniques for identifying the data and device. Once the identification data is determined, the information is transmitted to any one of multiple second tier entities that work in cooperation with the first tier entity. The second tier entities may then perform any desired functions based on the identification, such as providing offers, content, products and/or services to the device, or to other devices associated with the device or the device user. Other tiers may be employed for carrying out particular functions or activities, such as under the direction of the second tier entities.
