The managed environment includes a virtual wireless device. The management system including a wireless management module and a chassis management controller. The wireless management module couples a wireless device to the management system and the chassis management controller provides a management request from the wireless device to the virtual wireless device.

The first system includes a host processing complex and a first wireless management system that manages a managed element of the first system out of band from a hosted processing environment instantiated on the first system and that provides a first wireless connection beacon. The second system includes a second wireless management system that receives the first wireless connection beacon and that provides a first indication to the first wireless management system that the second wireless management system received the first wireless connection beacon. The first wireless management system further determines a first location of the second system based upon the first indication.

The electro-magnetic protective material inhibits electro-magnetic intrusions into the information handling. The second portion passes a wireless electro-magnetic signal to the information handling system.

Abstract: Near Field Communication (NFC) supports server information handling system management through communication between a mobile information handling system and a baseboard management controller. Enhanced transfer by NFC of management information is provided by manipulating the NFC tag memory assigned for information transfer with the aid of a microcontroller coordinating NFC transfers at the baseboard management controller. The microcontroller manages tag memory and/or system memory so that the portable information handling system writes and reads information beyond the capabilities of unaided tag memory. In one embodiment, the baseboard management controller defines file locations in microcontroller memory so that an application associated with an external NFC device can obtain the files from an NFC transceiver managed by the microcontroller.

Abstract: A system includes an access controller including a short range wireless communication controller to couple to a mobile device, and an access point including a long range wireless communication controller. The access point is coupled to the access controller via a secure link, and the access controller authenticates a user of the mobile device and provides access information from the mobile device to the access point via the secure link in response to authenticating the user. The access point couples to the mobile device using the access information to via the long range wireless communication controller and receives unique identification information associated with the mobile device from the mobile device. The system generates a digital certificate associated with the unique identification information and provides the digital certificate to the mobile device.
