Abstract: A bedding product such as a sheet may include a top panel, wherein a perimeter of the top panel is defined by an elastic-type binding material. At least one extension panel may be secured to at least a portion of the perimeter of the top panel. In turn, at least one side panel may be secured to at least one of the perimeter of the top panel and at least one extension panel, wherein the side panel extends downwardly with respect to the perimeter. The top panel may be generally arcuate such as having a generally elliptical shape before being fitted over a mattress.

Abstract: An improved system for retaining a top bed sheet onto a bottom bed sheet is disclosed using a plurality of attachment mechanisms. In one exemplary approach a first attachment device is associated with the top sheet and a second attachment device is associated with a bottom sheet. The attachment devices are complementary in both operation and location such that the first attachment device selectively engages the second attachment mechanism to customize the desired positioning and retention of the top sheet with respect to the bottom sheet.

Abstract: A fitted sheet configured to contour to mattresses of different thickness. The fitted sheet has a top panel and a plurality of side panels extending from the top panel. The fitted sheet further includes at least one stretchable portion secured to at least one end of the side panels wherein the stretchable portions are mated together and configured to extend around at least one corner of the mattress. Accordingly, the fitted sheet may be easier to apply and remove from the mattress and may be easier to fold and store during nonuse.
