  • Patent number: 11910363
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may establish multiple wireless connections, such as a wireless connection for a first subscriber identity module (SIM) and a wireless connection for a second SIM, that share time-frequency resources. The UE may communicate data packets with another device during a communication session on the wireless connection for the first SIM. The UE may determine to pause the communication session for a duration based on receiving an indication from the other UE or based on a user input to pause communication. The UE may communicate data packets on the wireless connection for the second SIM for at least a portion of the duration using the shared time-frequency resources based on pausing the communication session.

  • Publication number: 20230396357
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for indicating, at a local UE, a network condition at a remote UE. The local UE may be a first UE that receives, from a second UE (e.g., remote UE), a first indication of a decreased network condition at the second UE. The first indication may be associated with at least one of a TMMBr, a TMMBn, a decreased bit rate, or decreased downlink scheduling. The first UE may display, at the first UE, a second indication of the decreased network condition at the second UE based on the first indication received from the second UE.

  • Publication number: 20230269830
Abstract: Aspects presented herein may improve an emergency call establishment procedure by enabling a UE to transmit emergency register messages more efficiently. In one aspect, a UE transmits, to a network entity, a request to set up an ePDN. The UE receives, from the network entity, a response to the request comprising a set of multiple P-CSCF addresses. The UE transmits, to the network entity, a registering message to each of the multiple P-CSCF addresses simultaneously. The UE receives, from the network entity, at least one acceptance message from at least one of the set of multiple P-CSCF addresses in response to the registering message. The UE transmits, to the network entity, an invitation message to a P-CSCF address from which an acceptance message is received to establish an emergency call connection.

  • Publication number: 20230053216
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may dynamically indicate a resolution change to a display of the UE during a video call. For example, a first UE may communicate a configuration message with a second UE to establish a video call between the first UE and the second UE and indicate a first value for a resolution of a display of the first UE. During the video call, the first UE may identify a change to the resolution of the display and may transmit a message to the second UE that indicates the change to the resolution. In response to receiving the message, the second UE may encode one or more packets including video information for the video call according to a second value for the resolution and transmit the one or more packets to the first UE.
