Abstract: The present invention is a computer-implemented method for providing a security process for wireless devices. The method includes receiving a beacon frame at a beacon receiver. The beacon frame includes a digitally signed beacon identifier. The beacon frame is transmitted by a beacon transmitter. The method further includes transmitting a message with the beacon identifier from the beacon frame received by the beacon receiver to an arbiter for digital signature validation. The method further includes validating the beacon identifier from the message at the arbiter, and communicating a result of the beacon identifier validation by the arbiter back to the beacon receiver.
