  • Publication number: 20240118330
Abstract: A method and a system are used to analyze incremental quantities. The electrical measurements associated with a loop in a multiple-phase electric power delivery system are obtained before a fault occurred on the loop and after the fault occurred on the loop, and differences between the electrical measurements are used to determine incremental quantities. The incremental quantities are used to determine a location of the fault on the loop. Multiple loops in the multiple-phase electric power delivery system may be monitored to determine corresponding fault locations on each loop.

  • Patent number: 11953477
Abstract: The present application discloses method and sewer (111) for detecting faults associated with a gas chromatograph device (100) in a process plant. The gas chromatograph device (100) is associated with a database (110) configured to store a measured chromatogram, and historic chromatograms. Initially, the server receives the measured chromatogram from the database. Upon receiving the measured chromatogram, the server is configured to detect at least one real-time symptom for measured chromatogram. The real-time symptoms may be detected by comparing the historic chromatograms with predetermined configuration data to the measured chromatogram. Upon detecting the real-time symptoms, the server is configured to determine faults associated with the gas chromatograph device. • Publication number: 20240095101
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to utilizing a real-time event data reporting system that makes real-time and near-real-time monitoring and reporting possible in edge devices. For example, in various instances, the real-time event data reporting system embeds services within traditional event data collectors of edge devices to obtain, organize, and publish event data for local computing devices in real time utilizing in-memory storage. Additionally, the real-time event data reporting system further processes the published event data to generate aggregated data that is persisted to a persistence storage. In this manner, the real-time reporting system efficiently and accurately provides event data reports to client devices with processed metric data in real time, or in near-real time when utilizing additional fallback safeguards.

  • Patent number: 11934670
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for efficiently performing various operations at the granularity of a consistency group (CG) within a cross-site storage solution. An example of one of the various operations includes an independent and parallel resynchronization approach that independently brings individual volumes of a CG to a steady state of in-synchronization (InSync), thereby contributing to scalability of CGs by supporting CGs having a large number of member volumes without requiring a change to the resynchronization process. Another example includes preserving dependent write-order consistency when a remote mirror copy goes out-of-synchronization (OOS) for any reason by driving all member volumes OOS responsive to any member volume becoming OOS. Yet another example includes independent creation of snapshots by member volumes to support efficient and on-demand creation by an application of a common snapshots of all or a subset of peered member volumes of a CG with which the application is associated.
