Patent number: 12284751Abstract: An inhomogeneous dielectric medium high-speed signal trace system includes a first and second ground layer. A first dielectric layer is located adjacent the first ground layer. A second dielectric layer has a different dielectric constant and a greater thickness than the first dielectric layer, and is located between the first dielectric layer and the second ground layer. A first differential trace pair is located between the first dielectric layer and the second dielectric layer, and includes a trace spacing that is less than or equal to a thickness of the first dielectric layer. The first different trace pair transmit signals and, in response, produces a magnetic field, and the trace spacing prevents a magnetic field strength of the magnetic field from exceeding a magnetic field strength threshold at a second differential trace pair that is located adjacent the first differential trace pair.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2023Date of Patent: April 22, 2025Assignee: Dell Products L.P.Inventors: Arun Reddy Chada, Bhyrav Mutnury

Publication number: 20220347193Abstract: A composition, and method for a targeted drug delivery is disclosed in treating central nervous system injury, including blast hearing loss, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and the like, by administering a subject with nanoparticle-based minocycline formulations. The formulation contains nanoparticles encapsulating minocycline for neuroprotective effect in TBI. Albumin nanoparticle-based minocycline formulations provide enhanced delivery to brain, and reduced toxicity at minimal dosage for treating a subject suffering from central nervous system injury including blast induced traumatic brain injury (bTBI). Nanoparticle administered at minimal dose in rat blast TBI model crossed blood-brain barrier (BBB) and enhanced therapeutic concentration compared to free minocycline. Provided is an effective and safe minocycline delivery in TBI with minimal or no toxicity for neuroprotective therapy.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 27, 2022Publication date: November 3, 2022Applicant: New Jersey Institute of TechnologyInventors: Venkatesan Perumal, Arun Reddy Ravula, Namas Chandra, Venkata Kakulavarapu RamaRao, Vivek Kumar, Zain Siddiqui

Patent number: 10103910Abstract: A PAM equalization optimization system includes a BIOS coupled to a PAM engine and an equalization engine. The BIOS determines an effective equalization tap number of equalization taps that each provide an equalization result above a predetermined amount. The BIOS then determines whether the effective equalization tap number is greater than a predetermined fraction of an available equalization tap number of equalization taps that are available for equalizing a signal. When the effective equalization tap number is greater than the predetermined fraction of the available equalization tap number, the BIOS causes the equalization engine to perform per-symbol equalization on signals modulated using the PAM engine. When the effective equalization tap number is not greater than the predetermined fraction of the available equalization tap number, the BIOS causes the equalization engine to perform per-bit equalization on signals modulated using the PAM engine.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2018Date of Patent: October 16, 2018Assignee: Dell Products L.P.Inventors: Umesh Chandra, Bhyrav M.
