  • Publication number: 20230345317
Abstract: A system, method and non-transitory computer readable media for facilitating adaptive anchor layer mobility in a 5G NSA implementation. In one arrangement, a handover modulation criterion involving relevant trigger parametrics of an anchor cell node serving a UE and a target cell node may be compared against a tunable threshold parameter indicative of the effect of the target cell on the anchor cell quality. If the handover modulation criterion does not exceed the tunable threshold value, a quality degradation prediction with respect to the UE may be executed to estimate a likelihood of service failure for the UE. Responsive to determining that the likelihood of service failure does not exceed a probability threshold, handover of the UE to the target cell may be suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20230308968
Abstract: A network node in a telecommunications network can measure a first throughput associated with a first communication channel between the network node and a communication device. The first communication channel can include an active communication channel that uses a first radio access technology, RAT. The network node can further predict a second throughput associated with a second communication channel between the network node and the communication device if communication associated with the communication device was switched to the second communication channel. The second communication channel can include an inactive communication channel that uses a second RAT. The network node can further determine to switch the communication associated with the communication device to the second communication channel based on the first throughput and the second throughput.

  • Patent number: 10066103
Abstract: This invention relates to a vehicular tire containing at least one boron nitride reinforced polyurethane component. The polyurethane component is a cast polyurethane containing a dispersion of a layered hexagonally crystalline boron nitride (h-BN) particles. The polyurethane is the product of a castable liquid polyurethane reaction mixture derived from polyisocyanate and polymeric polyols without containing carbon-to-carbon bonds as distinguished from carbon-to-carbon double bond containing millable, sulfur curable, polyurethanes. It may sometimes be referred to as being a cast polyurethane.

  • Publication number: 20160318340
Abstract: This invention relates to provision of heat conductivity for a tire containing a polyurethane component with a dispersion of layered hexagonally crystalline boron nitride (h-BN) particles. The invention particularly relates to a pneumatic rubber tire with a polyurethane component wherein a path of thermal conductivity is provided from the interior of the tire to an exterior surface of the tire for dissipation of the conducted heat to the atmosphere. The polyurethane is the product of a castable liquid polyurethane reaction mixture without containing carbon-to-carbon double bonds as distinguished from millable, sulfur curable, polyurethanes. It may sometimes be referred to as being a cast polyurethane.

  • Publication number: 20160167451
Abstract: A pneumatic tire includes a pair of annular beads, at least one carcass ply wrapped around the beads, a tread disposed over the carcass ply in a crown area of the pneumatic tire, and sidewalls disposed radially between the tread and the beads. The pneumatic tire is mounted on a rim and a contact area of the pneumatic tire with the rim has carbon nanotubes for reducing micro-slippage between the beads and the rim during rotation of the pneumatic tire under load.
