  • Publication number: 20240085494
Abstract: Various embodiments of the disclosure include methods for testing measuring devices n for resources of an energy system assigned to a common measuring device. The method may include: acquiring a measurement signal Pn(t) by way of each of the measuring devices n; acquiring a sum signal PPCC(t) by way of the common measuring device; providing an objective function Z, which defines a difference between the acquired sum signal PPCC(t) and a modeled sum signal {circumflex over (P)}PCC(t), wherein the modeled sum signal {circumflex over (P)}PCC(t) is formed by way of the acquired measurement signals Pn(t) and a respective scaling factor Sn; and computing the values of the scaling factors Sn by extremizing the objective function Z. The test includes determining an error with one of the measuring devices n through a deviation of the computed value of the associated scaling factor Sn from a value defined for the respective measuring device n.

  • Publication number: 20220224111
Abstract: Various embodiments include a control apparatus for controlling a power consumption and/or a power output of an energy system via a network connection point of a low-voltage network, wherein a line voltage can be detected at the network connection point by the control apparatus. The control apparatus comprises a processor programmed to reduce the power consumption and/or to increase the power output if the line voltage is below a first threshold value and/or to increase the power consumption and/or to reduce the power output if the line voltage is above a second threshold value greater than the first threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20220215138
Abstract: Various embodiments include a computer-aided method for validating system parameters ascertained by measurement data and serving for a model function ? of a component of an energy system, wherein the model function ? characterizes a dependence of an output variable of the component on an input variable of the component taking into account the system parameters. The methods include: calculating a standard deviation of the system parameters; calculating a confidence bound based at least in part on the calculated standard deviation; and defining the system parameters as valid if the ratio of confidence bound to the model function is less than or equal to a defined threshold within a value range defined for the input variable.

  • Publication number: 20220069617
Abstract: Various embodiments of the teachings herein include methods for operating an energy management system of a grid participant electrically connectable to an electrical grid at a grid connection point comprising: a) receiving data from an electricity exchange characterizing a remuneration for a first service provided to the electrical grid by the grid participant and/or a second service obtained by the grid participant from the electrical grid; b) determining a load profile for the grid participant as a function of the received data, wherein the energy management system at least temporarily operates the grid participant according to the determined load profile so the grid participant provides the power to the electrical grid and/or obtains the power from the electrical grid; and c) transmitting the load profile to the electricity exchange.

  • Patent number: 11100410
Abstract: Systems and methods for probability forecasts and an energy transmission and/or energy distribution network are provided. Operational management may be carried out using a network control system with systematic consideration of forecast uncertainties. The probability of a distribution network being operable in a stable manner (e.g., with N-1 certainty) in a planning period is included. The system includes a forecaster for forecasts for a planning period, a forecast analyzer connected to the forecasts from the at least one forecaster, and elements for further information for outputting estimated forecast uncertainties. The system also includes a stability probability analyzer connected to the forecasts from the at least one forecaster, the estimated forecast uncertainties from the forecast analyzer, and elements for further information for outputting at least one item of information relating to an N-1 stability of the distribution network in the planning period.

  • Publication number: 20200076201
Abstract: Various embodiments include an island grid comprising: a power generator for generating an electric power; a controller for moderating an amount of electric power generated by the power generating unit; and a grid connection point to a superordinate electric grid. The controller operates the island grid in a first operating state decoupled from the electrical grid. The controller operates the island grid in a second operating state coupled to the electrical grid at the grid connection point. The control unit uses a separate controlled variable for each of the two operating states.
