Each of the system components includes a sensor unit, which captures measurement data regarding at least one operating parameter of the system component, and a communication interface, which transmits the measurement data and component information regarding the system component. The measurement data and component information regarding a system component are transferred into a data cloud by way of the communication interface of the system component. A graphical user interface is configured to visualize information regarding the electrical-energy transmission system. The information is generated from the measurement data and component information transferred into the data cloud. A user profile defining the information displayed to the user is created for a user of the graphical user interface.
