  • Publication number: 20260260511
Abstract: A method is provided for feature-based optical character recognition (OCR) for identification documents. The method comprises capturing an image of an identification document containing a photograph of a subject and at least one watermark image; applying facial recognition algorithms to detect and identify a set of facial features within the photograph, thereby obtaining a set of identified facial features, wherein said facial features are selected from the group consisting of eyes, lips, and ears; locating and extracting the photograph of the subject, independently of predefined template coordinates, based on the set of identified facial features; utilizing a gradient-based analysis to differentiate between the photograph and the at least one watermark image based on gradient intensity variations; and using the extracted photograph and associated data in at least one identity verification application.

  • Publication number: 20260261413
Abstract: A method (101) securely generates, stores, and manages cryptographic keys in an HRoT-enabled system. The method includes generating a cryptographic key (103) using a TRNG (121), combining the key with a user-defined PIN and a biometric hash (105), and applying an HMAC operation (141) to produce a cryptographically secure, irreversible key (143). Shamir's Secret Sharing (151) divides the HMAC-generated key into multiple shares (109) such that a threshold number of shares (153) is required for reconstruction. The shares (111) are distributed across secure storage locations (161), with at least one share stored within the HRoT environment (163). A recovery mechanism (113) retrieves and combines the required shares within the HRoT (171) to reconstruct the original cryptographic key following successful user authentication (173).

  • Publication number: 20260254629
Abstract: A method for conditional access to encrypted data based on geographic location is provided. The method includes generating an encrypted data file for secure information storage; associating the encrypted data file with a geolocation-based access condition, said access condition defined by a first set of geographic coordinates and a first altitude; generating and storing a unique access hash based on the access condition; receiving a request to decrypt the data file at a target location defined by a second set of geographic coordinates and a second altitude; generating a target location hash based on the target location; comparing the access hash and the target location hash; and decrypting the data file if the target location hash matches the access hash within a predefined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20260254801
Abstract: A system is provided for selective data access management. The system comprises a content sharing module configured to share a complete digital content file with a recipient device; an encryption module configured to encrypt discrete byte streams within the digital content file based on designated access rules; and a decryption module on the recipient device configured to decrypt only the designated byte streams based on access rules, thereby enabling selective access to specific portions of the digital content file.
