  • Patent number: 10963294
Abstract: Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The methods include, for instance: input data from the source environment, including application hosting data of each server in the source environment and one or more cloud type of the source environment. Candidate cloud types for target platform are listed and servers of the source environment are screened for eligibility for the migration. The target platform is selected by applying preconfigured selection rules on the application hosting data of each eligible server in the source environment. Migration recommendations for each eligible server in the source environment, including selected cloud type corresponding to the target platform, are produced.

  • Publication number: 20190188799
Abstract: A system and computer-implemented method for managing risks and reducing costs for insurance companies is provided. The system comprises a customer portal to create a profile corresponding to each of one or more customers. The system further comprises a member management module to compute an individual score corresponding to each of the one or more customers, associate each of the one or more customers with one or more pre-defined groups, monitor activities of the one or more customers and update the computed individual score. Furthermore, the system comprises a group management module to update a pre-defined group score. The system also comprises an analytical engine configured to communicate with existing systems to facilitate computing insurance premium of each of the one or more customers based on at least one of: the corresponding updated individual score, the updated score of the one or more groups and the monitored activities.

  • Patent number: 9159040
Abstract: A method of converting ERP data in a database managed by an ERP application and accessed through an ERP API and ERP Message Agent API (MAAPI) to strongly typed data in Java objects includes steps of reading, parsing, creating, and populating. A XML file containing the definition of the Java objects and their attributes of HyperText Markup Language (HTML) statements which specifies presentation format is read. Each of the declarations and HTML statements are parsed to identify definitions of objects and their attributes. The respective objects are created with their attributes. The objects are populated with data from the ERP data.

  • Patent number: 8652525
Abstract: This invention provides biodegradable, sustained-release pharmaceutical compositions of non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) formulated with biocompatible, biodegradable tyrosine-derived polyarylates. The compositions are particularly suitable for localized delivery of NSAIDs for various disease states. For example, implantation of the compositions at the site of surgery leads to relatively high local concentrations of the NSAID to reduce or alleviate post-surgical pain. Long term zero order release of certain NSAIDs can also be provided by with certain polymer formulations.

  • Patent number: 6854120
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for executing ERP application requests in a computer-implemented ERP data processing system via a network, using the steps of: (a) transmitting a HyperText Markup Language (HTML) input form to a browser executed by a client computer in the network for display on a monitor attached thereto; (b) receiving a HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) request from the browser to access the ERP System, wherein the request optionally includes data entered by the user into an HTML input form; (c) transferring any data entered by the user into the HTML input form and any data stored in the requested HTML page into the ERP application API (d) transferring control to the ERP application for execution; (e) receiving output data from the ERP application in response to the transmitted data and request; (f) merging the output data from the ERP application into a strongly typed Java object; (g) transforming the strongly typed Java objects into a transmittable format, such as

  • Publication number: 20040015834
Abstract: In order to use object-oriented models over the Internet for applications in different type systems it is necessary to marshal and unmarshal objects between Java, SQL and XML. Hand-writing specific code to do this is difficult. A computer-implemented method of generating serialization code for representing a model in a plurality of type systems is disclosed, the method comprising the steps of: i) producing an input file from the model for a given set of objects; and ii) providing a code generator for acting on the input file to generate the serialization code.
