  • Publication number: 20240125291
Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a rocket engine, comprising a primary chamber and a double contour nozzle attached to the primary chamber. In some embodiments, the double contour nozzle comprises an inner contour nozzle comprising a conical contour; an outer contour nozzle comprising a bell contour and at least one propellant injection orifice; and a contour break point between the inner contour nozzle and the outer contour nozzle. Ins some embodiments, the outer contour nozzle comprises a radius of curvature of less than 0.75 and a tangency angle of 40 to 90 degrees on a surface adjacent to the contour break point.

  • Publication number: 20230125321
Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems configured to guide users through a sequential mapping process to extract targeted information from received clinical report documents. The systems are configured to utilize the extracted information to generate a comprehensive, flexible report data model used to process incoming clinical report documents having the same document structure. Systems are uniquely configured to map incoming reports by utilizing the source code of PDF files, including the displayed text, information that determines how the text appears, and the absolute position of the text within each document constituting a clinical report.

  • Publication number: 20220018314
Abstract: The present disclosure comprises a thrust augmentation device for liquid rocket engines that will enable higher thrust throttling when launch vehicles require the additional thrust and be turned off when the additional thrust is no longer required. The present disclosure provide a higher mission-average engine specific impulse (Isp) performance by offering a greater nozzle exit area ratio and option of MR-shift in main combustion chamber. The present disclosure retains the technology advancements made in historical rocket engine development where cost and technical challenges were great, that is in the turbopump and main injector/combustion chamber, and take advantage of engine component that is least developed and understood, the nozzle section by providing a secondary propellant injection port and combustion zone to optimize liquid rocket engine performance required by launch vehicles.
