Abstract: A ventilation system for a housing structure with a plurality of air vents including: vent control modules configured to control and actuate opening and closing of at least one air vent of the plurality of air vents; an electro-mechanical drive unit mechanically coupled to each of the plurality of vent control modules and providing mechanical power thereto, the drive unit including a motor and a drive shaft, the drive shaft being disposed parallel to the axis of the air vents; a control unit, in communication with the drive unit and the plurality of vent control modules, configured to control the drive unit and individually control each of the vent control modules; the vent control modules use the mechanical power of the drive unit to individually effect the opening and closing of each respective vent of the plurality of air vents.
