  • Publication number: 20240102813
Abstract: The function input means 71 accepts input of a cost function that calculates a cost incurred in at least one of a selection of a candidate relay point and a design of a route, the cost function being represented as a linear sum of terms weighted by degree of importance attached to each of the features that an expert is assumed to intend when selecting the candidate relay point and design of the route. The learning means 72 learns the cost function by inverse reinforcement learning using training data that includes relay point information which is data that maps information indicating a relay point with surrounding information of the relay point and usage information of the relay point, and route result information which is result data of a route that pass through each relay point.

  • Publication number: 20240085196
Abstract: A function input means 71 accepts input of a cost function that calculates a cost incurred by an itinerary, the cost function being expressed as a linear sum of terms weighted for each feature that a traveler is expected to intend in the itinerary. A learning means 72 learns the cost function by inverse reinforcement learning using training data that includes scheduled information indicating travel planning of the traveler, attribute information indicating an attribute of the traveler, and actual information indicating an actual travel result of the traveler. A data extraction means 73 extracts the training data whose specified attribute matches the attribute information. • Patent number: 7954162
Abstract: To enable usage of content at a receiver which does not have a copying function even if copyright protection is provided. Model names of receivers not having a function enabling copying of content are held in an authentication processing circuit (151) of a transmitter (10). When a model name obtained from a connected receiver (40) is held, regardless of whether the content is copyright protected, a signal selection circuit (122) selects a terminal a side, a switch (123) is turned on, and an unencrypted signal is transmitted. When a change of the receiver (40) is detected by a hot plug detection function or a plug and play function at a processing circuit (152) during the transfer of a signal of copyright protected content without providing copyright protection, the selection circuit (122) is made to select a terminal b side or the switch (123) is turned off to suspend the transfer of the non-copyright protected signal. The information indicating the receiver is held in a tamper-proof updateable manner.

  • Patent number: 7340061
Abstract: In an information processing apparatus, a key management unit forms a judgment as to whether an authentication key owned by an application program is valid or invalid. A content protection unit is controlled based on this determination so that contents are exchanged between the information processing apparatus and the application program. An encryption/decryption unit encrypts a decrypted content by using an encryption key received from a key management unit and outputs the encrypted content to an encrypted-information addition unit. The encrypted-information addition unit adds encrypted information to the encrypted content received from the encryption/decryption unit and outputs the encrypted content with the encrypted information added thereto to the application program. As a result, it is possible to prevent content from being utilized illegally.

  • Patent number: 7248784
Abstract: When an input signal is signal-converted and is output, the copyright of a signal to be signal-converted is reliably protected. In an additional information detection/determination section, digital watermark information, CGMS information, etc., which are superposed on or added to an input luminance signal, are detected, and it is determined whether or not a signal which is to be signal-converted in a signal conversion section should be output on the basis of the detected additional information. When additional information for prohibiting or limiting copying has been superposed on or added to the input luminance signal, a switching circuit for output control is turned off so that the signal which is signal-converted in the signal conversion section is not output to the outside.

  • Publication number: 20030161609
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an information processing apparatus comprising a receiver and capable of judging what kind of content is being input. In step S1, the receiver receives a content that is broadcast in real time. When outputting the received content to a different apparatus connected to the receiver illustratively via a digital bus, the receiver supplements the output content with a broadcast bit set to indicate the real-time nature of the broadcast content. On detecting the broadcast bit set in the input content, the different apparatus judges that the content in question is being broadcast in real time. If no broadcast bit is found set in the input content, the different apparatus judges the content to have been reproduced from storage. This invention applies illustratively to receivers for receiving TV broadcasts.
