  • Patent number: 4768986
Abstract: Apparatus for use in manufacturing color picture tubes to mount a shadow mask within the tube panel to enable repeated removal and replacement. The panel is placed into position overlying the shadow mask so that the inwardly-directed pins on the interior of the panel are in general vertical registry with the apertured spring elements about the outer periphery of the shadow mask. An alignment stand is provided for each spring element to vertically align each spring element with its corresponding panel pin. Each alignment stand includes a dummy pin which may be inserted into the aperture of the spring element of the shadow mask and a rod arm having a guide groove which may be raised so that at its upper limit position the arm provides guide grooves in which the inwardly projecting pins of the panel may be engaged.

  • Patent number: 4639187
Abstract: An automatic storing equipment which is provided with a carrousel having a number of shelves and capable of automatically storing or taking out articles, such as electronic instruments, onto or from the predetermined shelf and which comprises pallets for carrying thereon the article, carrousel for storing therein the pallets with articles thereon, and a loading/unloading machine for storing or taking out the article onto or from the carrousel enables continuous power-feeding from the storing action to taking out action for the articles by means of characteristic construction. Hence, in a case that an electronic instrument mounted a microcomputer is the object to be stored, the object stored onto the shelves can be continuously energized to execute the programs loaded prior to the storing, thereby enabling perfect automatization of storing and taking out work for the continuous ageing test.

  • Patent number: 4593808
Abstract: For a multi-level rack-type conveyor having a multiple series of racks connected end-to-end to form an endless loop supported on a central standard, a rail-and-roller configuration which provides for each series of racks, an upper, inwardly-facing vertical rail surface and a lower, outwardly-facing vertical rail surface having a free upper edge. Each rack is provided with a pair of upper and lower rollers to engage the respective vertical surfaces, the lower roller having a flange adapted to ride on the free upper edge of the lower rail surface to provide vertical support for the rack. The free edge engages in the corner between the flange and the vertical roller surface to enable the flange to roll on the upper edge without slippage which causes friction and consequent noise and wear.
