  • Patent number: 11346325
Abstract: A wind turbine comprising a frame on a floating pontoon, wherein the frame is constructed as a lattice rig upright on the pontoon forming a plurality of rectangular or square openings in the rig for receiving respective interchangeable wind turbine generators with associated drive propellers driven by incoming wind, and each wind turbine generator being arranged to travel up the rear of the rig and through the openings towards the front of the rig. The wind power plant is characterized in that each turbine generator comprises one or more pairs of propeller blades forming a propeller set having a blade diameter defining the turbine rotational plane, each propeller set is arranged at a distance from the front side of the rig to be rotated by the incoming wind towards the rig. There is also described a method for mounting turbines with associated propeller sets and openings in the rig, respectively.

  • Patent number: 10451028
Abstract: A wind power plant comprises a platform having a deck and a frame. The frame comprises a plurality of generator stations, each configured for receiving and supporting a respective removable wind turbine generator. Generator conveyance means are configured and arranged for moving a wind turbine generator between the deck and a generator station. The wind turbine generator comprises a housing in which a turbine is rotatably arranged. The turbine comprising a plurality of blades interconnected by a peripheral rim; and the rim comprises a plurality of magnets. The housing comprises a plurality of coils arranged in close proximity to the peripheral rim. The platform may be a floating platform, supported by at least a main hull, connectable to a seabed via turret mooring, whereby the power plant is allowed to weathervane.

  • Patent number: 9777446
Abstract: A floating device for transfer of personnel and material to and from the shore, where the device is divided into sections that are mutually brought together by articulated couplings to form an extended, continuous path for the transfer of said personnel and material, as the sections are set up to be reset between a parked, folded position and an extended, using position. The device is characterized by a first section (10) that comprises mutually separated hull sections (14, 16) that are connected via a deck (12) where the other sections (20, 30) in the device are set up to be parked in under the deck (12) between the hull parts (14, 16) of the first section (10), and also that the device comprises means to securely couple the other sections (20, 30) to the first section (10) up under the deck, as the hull parts can be ballasted to be able to raise and lower the first section (10) with regard to the other sections (20, 30).

  • Patent number: 9374945
Abstract: An apparatus and method for compacting material into a bale and wrapping the bale with a wrapping material is set forth. The method comprises steps of supplying a material to be baled to a baling chamber of a combined baler and bale wrapping apparatus, and forming a bale of the material in the baling chamber, opening a cover of the baling chamber, securing the bale by a securing-mechanism operatively assigned to the baling chamber in the baling chamber, applying a wrapping material supplied from a dispenser to the secured bale, thereby providing one or more securing layers of the wrapping material encircling the bale, and releasing the bale from securing by the securing-mechanism, and wrapping the bale with the wrapping material by supplying further wrapping material from the dispenser to the bale, and expelling the wrapped bale from the baling chamber.
