  • Patent number: 11788577
Abstract: A rotary bearing with a damper having an inner bearing element configured for rotation around an axis of rotation, an outer bearing element coaxial with the inner bearing element, an inner damper element with an outer surface surrounding the outer bearing element, an outer damper element with an inner surface surrounding the inner damper element, at least one sealing element provided between the outer surface and the inner surface, the sealing element confining a damper space having a circumferential film space defined by a clearance between the outer surface and the inner surface. The damper space contains fluid and is a closed, isolated damper space.

  • Publication number: 20220373995
Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer implemented system configured for controlling and monitoring of a pump, the system comprising a pump system, at least one sensor providing an operating state data signal representative of a mechanical, fluidicly, electrical operating state and/or other system data of the pump and/or pump system and a control module controlling the mechanical, fluidicly and/or operating state of the pump in response to a received control signal. The invention also comprises a digital twin module being configured for retrieving said operating state data signal and store the data in the IoT database.

  • Patent number: 4987956
Abstract: Apparatus is disclosed for use in drilling an offshore well wherein a drill string suspended from a drill ship for extension within a riser pipe, lower marine riser package and subsea wellhead including a blowout preventer stack may be sheared at a location intermediate the lower end of the riser pipe and a flex or ball joint of the riser package.

  • Patent number: 4531585
Abstract: An apparatus and method for shutting in a well in the event all other control equipment on the well fails to close and hold. The apparatus includes a lower and upper tubing head in which the tubing extends from the well upwardly through the lower head and into the upper head and sealingly engages both heads. A sealing and shear ram is positioned between the heads for shearing and sealing the tubing. The shear tubing is moved away from the shear rams after shearing to allow the rams to seal. The tubing is preferably supported from only one of the tubing heads. In one embodiment the tubing is supported initially from the upper head and after shearing the lower tubing portion moves downwardly to seat on the lower tubing head for allowing the rams to seal. In another embodiment the tubing is supported from the lower head and after shearing the upper portion of the tubing is raised to allow the shear rams to seal.
