  • Publication number: 20240188853
Abstract: A hearing estimation system having a computerized device and an acoustic output transducer. The computerized device has a graphical user interface, a program storage and a processor for: a) receiving a first plurality of first audiograms from a first plurality of persons; b) providing for each a weighting factor and an initial value of the weighting factor; c) selecting a first frequency; d) measuring a hearing threshold of a specific user at the first frequency using the acoustic output transducer; e) performing a first update on each of the weighting factors in dependence on the difference between the value of the respective first audiogram and the measured hearing threshold of the specific user at the first frequency; and f) determining an estimated audiogram for the specific user as a weighted mean of the first plurality of first audiograms based on the weighting factors, according to their first update.
