  • Publication number: 20240104365
Abstract: A method performed by a node for predicting a behavior of users of a communications network is described. The node manages an artificial neural network. The node merges a first pre-existing predictive model of the behavior in a first group of users with a second model of the behavior in a second group of users. The merging comprises establishing connections between the first model and the second model. Each of the connections has a respective weight. The respective weights of the connections are learned by respective connections of neurons in the artificial neural network based on data from a third group of users. The node also obtains a third model for predicting the behavior in the third group of users, based on the merged models and the data from the third group of users.

  • Patent number: 11288533
Abstract: A community mapping platform may receive an image that depicts a community layout of a community and may process, using a computer vision model, the image to identify a unit, of the community, that is depicted in the image (e.g., based on identifying a text string and/or a polygon in the image). The community mapping platform may determine sets of community geographical coordinates for a set of reference locations of the community and may map the sets of community geographical coordinates to corresponding reference pixel locations of the image. The community mapping platform may determine, using a geographical information system, unit geographical coordinates of the unit based on the reference pixel locations and may perform an action associated with the unit geographical coordinates.

  • Patent number: 8913729
Abstract: A system may include a memory configured to store a number of workflows and a system interface configured to communicate with other systems associated with provisioning a broadband service. The system may also include logic configured to receive input from a user identifying a first one of the workflows, where the first workflow includes actions associated with provisioning the broadband service and an output of at least some of the actions are linked to other actions associated with provisioning the broadband service. The logic is also configured to execute the first workflow, where when executing the first workflow, the logic is configured to transmit and receive information to and from the other systems via the system interface.

  • Patent number: 8665751
Abstract: A network upgrade tool identifies at least one new digital subscriber line (DSL) path pre-provisionable elements associated with the at least one new DSL path. The tool provisions the identified pre-provisionable elements prior to transition from at least one existing DSL path to the at least one new DSL path; receives a notification that physical network changes associated with a target digital subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLAM) have been made; and provisions non-pre-provisioned elements following receipt of the notification.

  • Patent number: 8208403
Abstract: A device receives, from a customer, a request for an end-to-end path through a network, determines parameters of a query based on the request and path criteria, and executes the query on a database of network elements capable of being included in the end-to-end path. The device also selects one or more of the network elements provided in the database based on results of the query, and reserves, in the database, the one or more selected network elements for the end-to-end path.

  • Patent number: 7944855
Abstract: A network upgrade tool creates an upgrade project designating a source digital subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLAM), a target DSLAM, and an upgrade type and determines whether the source DSLAM and target DSLAM are eligible for upgrade based on the upgrade type. At least one new digital subscriber line (DSL) path associated with the target DSLAM is identified when the source DSLAM and target DSLAM are eligible for upgrade. Pre-provisionable elements associated with the at least one new DSL path are identified and the identified pre-provisionable elements are provisioned prior to transition from at least one existing DSL path to the at least one new DSL path. A cutover selection is received that indicates that physical network changes associated with the target DSLAM have been made and non-pre-provisioned elements are provisioned following receipt of the cutover selection.
