Publication number: 20230282316Abstract: A method for source attribution comprises receiving measurements of a chemical species at a spatially distributed sensor array for a given set of spatially positioned emission sources in a physical environment using a dispersion model. Based on the received measurements, a concentration field is mapped from the emission sources to the sensor array using a forward operator. For each emission source, a likelihood data set is evaluated at least by fitting an emission rate of the chemical species using a regression model based on the mapped concentration field and real-world, runtime measurements from the sensor array. A posterior data set is evaluated based at least on the evaluated likelihood data set and historical data for the physical environment. For each sensor of the sensor array, estimated emission rates and contribution rankings for emission sources are determined and output based on the evaluation of the posterior data set.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 17, 2022Publication date: September 7, 2023Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Sara MALVAR MAUA, Leonardo DE OLIVEIRA NUNES, Mirco MILLETARI', Neera Bansal TALBERT, Yazeed Khalid ALAUDAH, Jeremy Randall REYNOLDS, Yagna Deepika ORUGANTI, Ashish BHATIA, Anirudh BADAM

Publication number: 20230007082Abstract: A method for pollutant sensor placement is described. Data about environmental characteristics across a geographic region is received from a plurality of environmental sensors. The geographic region includes one or more pollutant sources that emit a pollutant. The received data is transformed from one or more of the plurality of environmental sensors into common data having a common grid across the geographic region. The geographic region is divided into a plurality of sub-regions based on the common data. Locations within the geographic region are determined for placement of pollutant sensors based on estimated dispersion of the pollutant through the plurality of sub-regions.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 30, 2021Publication date: January 5, 2023Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Conor E. Patent number: 10850964Abstract: A system and method for filling containers with a precise amount of fluid is disclosed. The system and method use artificial neural network logic to sense conditions and to control the two-valve dispensing unit based on the sensed conditions to fill containers with a precise amount of fluid. Using neural network logic combined with sensors and controllers for equipment eliminates the significant human effort and human errors associated with manually filling containers with fluid. Furthermore, the neural network can log data quicker and with more accuracy than a human manually logging data. The system and method use a two-valve dispensing unit to precisely fill and to prevent and clear clogs caused by fluid solidifying within the dispensing unit.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2019Date of Patent: December 1, 2020Assignee: Accenture Global Solutions LimitedInventors: Dokiparti Vudaya Bhaskar, Ashish Bhatia, Prashant Sanghvi, Priyank Bajpai

Publication number: 20200104808Abstract: A system includes a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory stores a database including a set of previous transactions and a set of business rules and instructions that, upon execution, cause the processor to receive a check image from a remote device, identify check information of the check image, and extract the check information from the check image. The instructions cause the processor to apply the set of business rules to the check information based on the remote device and validate the check information. The validation includes comparing the check information to the set of previous transactions, in response to the comparison identifying a duplicate transaction, determining the check image is fraudulent, and, in response to determining the check image is fraudulent, flagging the check image. The instructions cause the processor to transmit the check image and check information to the database for storage.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2019Publication date: April 2, 2020Applicant: Alogent CorporationInventors: Jason SCHWABLINE, Ashish BHATIA

Publication number: 20200104811Abstract: A system includes at least one processor and a memory coupled to the at least one processor. The memory stores a database including previous transaction information and a set of business rules and instructions that, upon execution, cause the at least one processor to receive, from a transaction device, transaction information of a transaction and analyze the transaction information. The instructions cause the at least one processor to transmit the transaction information to a payment processing device to process the transaction information. The processing includes analyzing the transaction information based on the set of business rules, in response to the analyzing indicating the transaction is fraudulent, generating and adding a flag to the transaction information, and storing the transaction information in the database as previous transaction information.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2019Publication date: April 2, 2020Applicant: Alogent CorporationInventors: Jason SCHWABLINE, Ashish BHATIA

Publication number: 20190237391Abstract: A stacked-chip assembly including a plurality of IC chips or die that are stacked, and electrically coupled by solder bonds. In accordance with some embodiments described further below, the solder bonds are to contact a back-side land that includes a diffusion barrier to reduce intermetallic formation and/or other solder-induced reliability issues. The back-side land may include an electrolytic nickel (Ni) barrier layer separating solder from a back-side redistribution layer trace. This electrolytic Ni may be of high purity, which at least in part, may enable the backside metallization stack to be of minimal thickness while still functioning as a diffusion barrier. In some embodiments, the back-side land composition and architecture is distinct from a front-side land composition and/or architecture.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 27, 2016Publication date: August 1, 2019Applicant: Intel CorporationInventors: Seshu V.
