    Abstract: An illustrative virtual meeting management system associates a user device of a participant of a virtual meeting with a physical location from which the participant and one or more additional participants participate in the virtual meeting. The virtual meeting management system determines that the participant provides a user input via the user device during the virtual meeting. The user input indicates that the participant will speak. Based on the user input and the associating, the virtual meeting management system provides an active speaker indicator for presentation in a virtual meeting interface provided to one or more participants of the virtual meeting. The active speaker indicator specifies a participant identifier representative of the participant and a place identifier representative of the physical location from which the participant participates in the virtual meeting. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

The exemplary method further includes generating, based on the user image information, a template model that is generic to a plurality of users, selecting, from the user image information and based on predefined selection criteria, video frames that depict a user included in the plurality of users, and generating a virtual avatar model of the user by applying the selected video frames to the template model. A visual representation of the virtual avatar model may be configured to be used in future video conference sessions in place of a live video image of the user.

The system may identify parameters associated with a conference between a set of User Equipment (“UEs”) used by different conference participants to access the conference. The system may compare the identified parameters to sets of parameters associated with a classification model. The system may identify, based on the comparing and the model output, a particular classification for the conference, and may calculate an impact of each conference parameter on the particular classification based on a particular parameter combination included in the model for the particular classification. The system may determine that a subset of the conference parameters has a larger impact on the particular classification than other conference parameters, may select one or more actions that are associated with the particular classification and the subset of parameters, and may perform the one or more actions.

    Abstract: An audio/video stream may include an audio stream and a video stream. The video stream may be decomposed into a plurality of face streams. Each of the face streams may include a cropped version of the video stream and be focused on the face of one of the individuals captured in the video stream. Facial recognition may be used to associate each of the face streams with an identity of the individual captured in the respective face stream. Additionally, voice recognition may be used to recognize the identity of the active speaker in the audio stream. The face stream associated with an identity matching the active speaker's identity may be labeled as the face stream of the active speaker. In a “Room SplitView” mode, the face stream of the active speaker is rendered in a more prominent manner than the other face streams.
