Patent number: 11975366Abstract: A pre-loaded cleaning substrate, and related systems and methods for picking up particles with an aspect ratio (L/D) greater than 300 (e.g., hair), or greater than 1200 (e.g., particularly long hairs). The substrate (e.g., a nonwoven) may include only a single layer of material. The pre-loaded substrate is loaded (e.g., during manufacture) with a cleaning composition. The fibers of the substrate may have an average diameter less than 15 ?m, the substrate may have an air permeability of 35 ft3/min to 75 ft3/min, and the liquid cleaning composition may have a surface tension of less than about 50 dynes/cm. Together, the combination of the particular substrate and cleaning composition may facilitate markedly improved ability to pick up high L/D aspect ratio particle debris (e.g., such as hair), while retaining such particles (e.g., providing hair retention index values of at least 20).Type: GrantFiled: November 15, 2022Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: THE CLOROX COMPANYInventors: Ashish K. Publication number: 20240109822Abstract: An integrated process for hydrogenating olefins wherein the hydrogen stream is generated from electrolysis of water is described. Water is derived from a first reaction step wherein a first feed stream comprising oxygenated hydrocarbons is reacted to produce a first reacted product stream comprising olefins and a second reacted product stream comprising water. The second reacted product stream is electrolyzed to produce an electrolyzer product stream comprising hydrogen. Hydrogen is used to hydrogenate olefins. A paraffin stream can be obtained from the hydrogenated effluent.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 29, 2022Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Manuela Serban, Chunqing Liu, Ashish Mathur, Saikrishna Laxmirajam Gosangari, Charles Luebke, Eseoghene Jeroro, Chad R. Publication number: 20240105352Abstract: The present disclosure provides for cementitious shielding compositions, methods of making the cementitious shielding composition, structures incorporating the concrete cementitious shielding composition, and the like, where the cementitious shielding composition includes elemental boron and/or a boron compound, for example as boron particles. The boron particles can be homogeneously distributed throughout the cementitious shielding composition and can have a largest least dimension of about 100 microns or less. The present disclosure, in some aspects, can reduce or eliminate problems associated with minerals found in concrete aggregates, because those materials are degraded over time by neutron radiation, which leads to disorganized lattice structures, manifested as damage by radiation-induced volumetric expansion (RIVE), and potentially further damage from alkali-silica reaction (ASR).Type: ApplicationFiled: February 1, 2022Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: Jerry M. PARIS, Christopher C. FERRARO, Kyle A. RIDING, Ashish D. PATEL, James E. BACIAK, Eric R. GIANNINI, W. Calvin MCCALL

Publication number: 20230360643Abstract: An automatic speech recognition (ASR) computing system and methodology are provided to predict a textual representation of received input speech data. A context acoustic biasing (CAB) engine of the ASR computing system receives historical textual content and an ontology data structure. The CAB engine matches key terms identified in the historical textual content with concepts present in the ontology data structure to generate a contextual term list data structure comprising the concept terms related to concepts matching the key terms. The CAB engine generates acoustic representations of the concept terms in the contextual term list data structure and inputs them to an ASR computer model of the ASR computing system which processes an input speech signal to generate a predicted textual representation of the input speech signal. The predicted textual representation is biased towards the acoustic representations of the concept terms in the contextual term list data structure.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 3, 2022Publication date: November 9, 2023Inventors: Ashish R. Patent number: 10810246Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to automated ontology refinement based on query inputs and provided feedback. A query input is received for an ontology. Features of the query input are analyzed, wherein analyzation includes determining syntactical and semantic characteristics of the features of the query input. Based on the determined syntactical and semantic characteristics, ontological elements are classified for each feature of the query input. The ontological element for each feature of the query input is then compared to a set of ontological elements of the ontology. Based on the comparison, a response to the query input is received, along with a request for feedback regarding the response. Feedback is then received regarding the response. Based on the feedback, the ontology is analyzed to determine at least one deficiency of the ontology. The ontology is then refined to correct the at least one deficiency.Type: GrantFiled: November 27, 2017Date of Patent: October 20, 2020Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Ashish R.
