  • Publication number: 20240349954
Abstract: A method for is disclosed herein, including receiving, by a processor, a first sensor signal, retrieving, by the processor, a first dispense time for a faucet in response to the first sensor signal being a request for water from the faucet, activating, by the processor, the faucet to dispense water for the first dispense time, receiving, by the processor, a second sensor signal while the faucet is dispensing water, determining, by the processor, that the faucet is active in response to the second sensor signal being a request for soap from a soap dispenser, calculating, by the processor, a first frequency of the faucet being active when the second sensor signal is received, and decreasing, by the processor, the first dispense time in response to the first frequency being above a first threshold.

  • Publication number: 20230405366
Abstract: An oxygen supply system for delivering oxygen to passengers in an aircraft in an event of a loss of cabin pressure includes a source of oxygen, a passenger service unit, and a main controller. The passenger service unit includes a face mask configured to facilitate a flow of an accumulated volume of oxygen from the source of oxygen, and a sensor configured to detect at least one of an ambient pressure, an airflow in a first direction, or an airflow in a second direction. The main controller is configured to determine at least one of the ambient pressure, the airflow being in the first direction, or the airflow being in the second direction, and command delivery of oxygen from the source of oxygen to the face mask in response to the determination.

  • Publication number: 20230350095
Abstract: A method for controlling a touchless lavatory is disclosed herein. The method includes forming one or more groups of sensors from a plurality of sensors, determining that a trigger event is detected from the first sensor, and identifying a first group of sensors of the one or more groups of sensors to which the first sensor belongs. The method further includes requesting an ambient light measurement from each of the plurality of sensor. The method further includes computing an average ambient light value based on the ambient light measurement, comparing the ambient light measurement of the first sensor to the average ambient light value of all the sensors, determining that the ambient light measurement of the first sensor is less than the average ambient light value of all the sensors, and determining that the first sensor trigger event is valid.
