The manifest includes an element indicator corresponding to an adjustable-user-interface-element of the first application, an adjustment range associated with the adjustable-user-interface-element, and a user satisfaction criterion associated with the adjustable-user-interface-element. The method includes assigning, with the electronic processor, an initial value for the adjustable-user-interface-element, the initial value being within the adjustment range. The method includes receiving a configuration request for the first application. The method includes transmitting the initial value. The method includes receiving, from the user device, a user success score for the user satisfaction criterion.
