  • Patent number: 11931307
Abstract: A method of operating an exoskeleton system that includes obtaining a first set of sensor data from one or more sensors associated with one or more leg actuator units of an exoskeleton system during a user activity, the first set of sensor data indicating a first configuration state of the one or more actuator units; determining, based at least in part on the first set of obtained sensor data, to change configuration of the one or more leg actuator units to a second configuration state to support a user during the user activity; and introducing fluid to one or more fluidic actuators of the one or more leg actuator units to generate the second configuration state by causing the one or more fluidic actuators to apply force at the one or more actuator units.

  • Patent number: 11294415
Abstract: A controller for operative connection to a power assisted transport vehicle that is at least partially directed by a human operator in physical contact with the vehicle, the controller including: a contact surface with a deadman switch, a first sensor and a second sensor each responsive to manual actuation of the contact surface, each sensor having a respective first sensor output signal and a second sensor output signal, and a signal processing means adapted to process the first and second output signals, and control the mode of operation of the controller in accordance with the state of the deadman switch.

  • Publication number: 20170112252
Abstract: A single implement device for the generation of hair curls without the need for heat is provided. Such an implement utilizes two flexible fabric-covered rod structures that curve around a user's head, each from the forehead area to the back of the head, thereby providing two substantially symmetrical components around which hair portions may be wrapped and kept for a certain period of time. After a certain period of time, the user removes the implement and the previously wrapped hair exhibits desired curls that last another 24 hours, at least. Such an implement allows for curl generation without the need for heat applications and/or multiple hair rollers. The method of utilizing such a single implement to generate hair curls throughout the entirety of a user's hair is also encompassed within this invention.
