Abstract: A frame connector for securing a first frame member to a second frame member, the frame connector comprising a first body having a first pair of arms extending along first and second axes from a origin mitre plane to respective free ends; a second body adjacent to the first body and having a contact surface and a second pair of arms extending from the origin mitre plane to respective free ends, and an actuator secured to the first body and arranged to apply a force to the contact surface in a first direction. The first and second axes are non-colinear and define a first plane. The first direction forms an acute angle to the first plane. The actuator is arranged to displace the first body relative to the second body in the first direction.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a handle assembly for a door having a locking mechanism. The handle assembly comprises a handle; a housing adapted to receive and store the handle; and a handle release assembly. The handle release assembly comprises an activation release mechanism adapted to selective move the handle from a stored inoperable position into a released operable position, and a translation mechanism adapted to move the handle rotatably about and axially along an axis normal to the planar surface of the housing during operation.

Abstract: A folding door system comprising a concealed hinge, a first frame, and a second frame. The concealed hinge comprises a first hinge block having a slot formed therein and defining a first sliding portion, a second hinge block having a slot formed therein and defining a second sliding portion, a first linkage having a first connection pivotally secured to the first hinge block and a second connection slidably and pivotally secured within the second sliding portion, and a second linkage pivotally connected to the first linkage and having a third connection pivotally secured to the second hinge block and a fourth connection slidably and pivotally secured within the first sliding portion. The first hinge block is mounted to a side face of the first frame and the second hinge block is mounted to a side face of the second frame.
