  • Patent number: 11180159
Abstract: A method and system of intelligently alerting and/or routing vehicles to improve driving safety is disclosed. The method includes sharing data collected by vehicles in different locations to determine whether the presence of dynamically moving objects such as animals and pedestrians will affect traffic conditions for other vehicles on the nearby roadways. If the system determines there is a likelihood of such objects being obstacles to other vehicles, an alert can be automatically presented to the drivers of the impacted vehicles. The method further includes generating routes for the driver that avoid, or limit, the driver's exposure to the obstacle.

Abstract: A system and method for dispatching messages from a user to at least one recipient over a telecommunications network is disclosed. The system includes a messaging system and an authentication system. The messaging system receives user messages, retrieves contact information for recipients on a user's contact list, and attempts to deliver messages to recipients on the list. The system may continue attempting to deliver messages to recipients until it finds a recipient who is available to receive the message. The authentication system is used to ensure the recipient is a person and not a machine. The messages could be audio messages delivered using a telephone network or messages delivered over an SMS network.

  • Patent number: 11145202
Abstract: A system and method for alerting a driver of a motor vehicle or a person walking along a road or hiking on a trail of potentially dangerous hazards in their path. Hazards may be deep water, ice, oil slicks or other hazards. In the case of a motor vehicle, the system uses cameras mounted on or within the vehicle to detect potential hazards and then analyzes the images combined with the known topography of the location to evaluate the ability of the vehicle to safely traverse the hazard. In the case of a person walking or hiking, the person may use the camera on a personal mobile device to capture images of the hazard and to combine the images with the known topography at the location to evaluate the danger presented by the hazard.

  • Patent number: 11102344
Abstract: A system may include a processor that may execute computer-executable instructions that cause the processor to receive caller information regarding an incoming communication from a caller and receive a request from a user to route the incoming communication to a virtual assistant application. The virtual assistant application is configured to interact with the caller and determine whether the caller is associated a fraudulent caller activity stored on databases accessible by the processor. The processor may then receive an indication from the virtual assistant application that the caller is associated with the fraudulent caller activity and forward the incoming communication to another party in response to receiving the indication.

  • Patent number: 11076274
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to monitoring sound in and around a vehicle to predict unsafe driving events, and using the sound information to detect and reduce unsafe driving conditions. A computing device receives information indicative of a sound in or near a vehicle. The sound information may be received via the vehicle itself or via a device. The computing device then determines whether there is an indication of an unwanted driving event. The computing device also receives vehicle operation data extracted from one or more vehicle sensors. The computing device then determines whether there is an indication of unsafe driving conditions, and if there is, the computing device may output a notice or alert via a notification system to alert the driver or, in certain embodiments, other parties via social media, text message, chat programs, and the like.

  • Patent number: 11055978
Abstract: A system may include a processor. The processor may be configured to receive a first indication indicative of presence of a person arriving at a location associated with a scheduled service. The process may also be configured to determine whether the first indication corresponds to an expected arrival time of the scheduled service. Additionally, the processor may receive activity data in response to determining that the indication corresponds to the expected arrival time. Further, the processor may receive a second indication indicative that the person has completed the scheduled service. Further still, the processor may determine whether the scheduled service is completed based at least in part on the activity data. Even further, the processor may transmit a service confirmation to a computing device associated with a property owner of the location in response to determining that the scheduled service is completed.
