Abstract: The present invention is directed to a food processor having a lid with a pour spout. The spout includes a wide mouth opening for easy introduction of food and liquids, and has a body that protrudes into the interior of the processor container. The spout body narrows as it extends into the interior of the container and is angled so that it points toward the center of the container. This helps to prevent splashback of food as its chopped while the food processor is operating.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a hand-held modular kitchen multitool having a universal powerhead capable of being used with a variety of kitchen appliance attachments, such as a blender, a whisker, a wine opener, a can opener, and a spice grinder. A dual spice grinder attachment is also disclosed that can select one of two spices to grind. Also disclosed is a wine opener that automatically removes a cork from a bottle.

Abstract: A contact trip assembly for a power nailer, wherein a contact member includes a curved portion that loops rearwardly towards a handle of the nailer. Also provided is an adjustment assembly including an adjustment plate and a pinion gear, a trigger that is slidably engageable within a housing of the tool, a trigger lock including a ring element, an anti-discharge mechanism including a stop member, and a contact trip lock.

Abstract: A portable, hand-operated trimmer has a head module that is removably connected to a power control module. The head module has a power head enclosing an electric motor that is operatively connected to a trimming blade. The power head is selectably settable in a plurality of angular positions with respect to a head support, including a neutral position representing 0 degree rotation, 45 degree flexion and dorsiflexion positions, and 90 degree flexion and dorsiflexion positions. The power head also encloses a stator cartridge that is connected to the housing of the power head by a plurality of fastening members. The head support rotates about the stator cartridge and is engaged by way of a movable engagement pin that is received within a selected recess defined in the stator cartridge. The power head housing and stator cartridge further define molded sockets to receive corresponding pivot arms of the head support. An O-ring is disposed about one of the pivot arms to dampen free rotation.

A driver retention feature is provided to retain a drive blade from accidentally escaping the nailer. A pusher assembly is provided having a simplified and efficient construction. A pusher retention feature is provided that prevents the driver blade from impacting a nail pusher. A nail retention feature is provided to allow easy loading and unloading of nails into the nailer. Finally, a method of assembling the magazine assembly is provided.

Abstract: A fastening tool having a contact trip switch, a trigger switch, a driver, a motor assembly and a controller. The controller is configured to selectively operate the motor assembly in response to inputs received from the contact trip switch and the trigger switch. The controller includes a mode selector switch having a first switch setting, which can permit bump-feed operation of the fastening tool, and a second switch setting, which prohibits bump-feed operation of the fastening tool.
