Abstract: A closed-loop drilling fluid condition system for drilling fluid mixing and recycling process is described. The closed-loop drilling fluid condition system improves drilling fluid quality, repeatability, utilization efficiency, and health, safety and environment (HSE) issues. In particular, the closed-loop drilling fluid condition system automates a water-based drilling fluid workflow or an oil-based drilling fluid workflow where individual stages are monitored and adjusted in real-time. Specifically, the individual stages are monitored in real-time using sensors and adjusted in real-time based on commands from a monitoring device to achieve specific drilling fluid parameters.

  • Publication number: 20220224572
Abstract: The embodiments described herein are directed at techniques to de-correlate Bluetooth interference seen across WLAN receive antennas/space in a Bluetooth transceiver/WLAN transceiver combination device. A Bluetooth interference whitening technique may be utilized, wherein a whitening matrix is computed based on a leakage signal resulting from a training signal transmitted by the Bluetooth transceiver. The leakage signal may leak in to the WLAN transceiver and a set of attributes is calculated for each frequency the leakage signal is received on. One or more whitening matrixes are calculated based on the set of attributes for each frequency the leakage signal is received on. In response to the WLAN transceiver receiving a signal of interest, an appropriate whitening matrix from the one or more whitening matrixes is selected and is then applied to the received signal of interest to de-correlate any interference generated as a result of the Bluetooth transmission.

  • Publication number: 20220222527
Abstract: Hardware failures are undesired, but a common problem in circuits. Such failures are inherently due to the aging of circuitry or variation in circumstances. In critical systems, customers demand that the system never fail. Several self-healing and fault tolerance techniques have been proposed in the literature for recovering a circuitry from a fault. Such techniques are helpful when a fault has already occurred, but they are typically uninformed about the possibility of an impending failure (i.e., fault prediction), which can be used as a pre-stage to fault tolerance and self-healing. Presented herein is a method for early prediction of circuit faults. Using Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT), Principal Component Analysis (PCA), and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), circuit faults can be predicted at a transistor level.

  • Publication number: 20220221852
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for making embryonic bio-inspired hardware efficient against faults through self-healing, fault prediction, and fault-prediction assisted self-healing. The disclosed self-healing recovers a faulty embryonic cell through innovative usage of healthy cells. Through experimentations, it is observed that self-healing is effective, but it takes a considerable amount of time for the hardware to recover from a fault that occurs suddenly without forewarning. To get over this problem of delay, novel deep learning-based formulations are utilized for fault predictions. The self-healing technique is then deployed along with the disclosed fault prediction methods to gauge the accuracy and delay of embryonic hardware.

  • Publication number: 20220221880
Abstract: A method includes identifying time values for a length of time to carry out process fluid delivery within multiple processing chambers that concurrently process multiple substrates; translating each time value to a recipe parameter for execution of an operation of a processing recipe; and causing the operation to be performed using each recipe parameter as a control value to control valves of a fluid panel of the multiple processing chambers. For each processing chamber of the multiple processing chambers: causing the process fluid to flow to the processing chamber for a first period of time corresponding to a first time value; and causing the process fluid to flow to a divert foreline of the processing chamber for a second period of time, the second period of time being based on a timestep of the operation and the time value.

  • Publication number: 20220222112
Abstract: Task scheduling in a computing device may be based in part on voltage regulator efficiency. For an additional task to be scheduled, multiple task scheduling cases may be determined that represent execution of the additional task on each of a number of processors concurrently with one or more other tasks executing among the processors. For each task scheduling case, a regulator input power level for a voltage regulator may be determined based on a performance level indication associated with the additional task, the one or more other tasks executing on the processors, and the efficiency level of each voltage regulator. For each task scheduling case, a total regulator input power level may be determined by summing the regulator input power levels for all voltage regulators. The additional task may be executed on a processor associated with a task scheduling case for which total regulator input power is lowest.
