  • Publication number: 20220412328
Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for recovering the kinetic energy created by movement of a vehicle frame relative to a vehicle suspension to generate electrical energy that may be utilized on-the-fly or stored in order to provide power to an electric vehicle, wherein an embodiment for a regenerative energy system uses a plurality of gear assemblies to convert linear up-and-down movement of the vehicle to rotary motion that is then amplified in rotational speed by a gear reduction system to cause rotational movement of a shaft of one or more generators in a single rotational direction to thereby generate electricity that may be utilized directly by electrical motors or stored in batteries or supercapacitors.

  • Publication number: 20220149698
Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for recovering the kinetic energy associated with the movement of a vehicle frame relative to the vehicle suspension to generate electrical energy that may be stored in order to power vehicle systems, wherein in a first embodiment a regenerative energy system uses a gear assembly to convert linear up-and-down movement of the vehicle suspension to rotary motion that is then utilized by a rotational movement capture system to force movement of one or more alternators in a single direction to thereby generate electricity that may be stored in batteries or supercapacitors.

  • Patent number: 7314315
Abstract: Improved serviceability of cold metal cutting machines is accomplished in a modified gearbox structure enabling several annular components that are conventionally attached by press-fit to be attached instead by slide-fit for easy removal and replacement, eliminating hammering and/or heating required conventionally to release press-fit components. Press-fitting of a motor shaft coupling is eliminated by introduction of clamping slide-fit structure. Press-fits of two thrust bearings to the housing are eliminated by introduction of slide-fit adaptors. Instead of the conventional practice of making the saw rotor integral with the low speed shaft, a separate saw rotor bolted to the shaft enables easy replacement of the oil seal.

  • Publication number: 20030228197
Abstract: Improvements are provided in metal cutting machines of the type having an overhead circular saw assembly mounted via a pivot joint onto a turntable set into a platform to which a pair of fences may be deployed. The improvements, overcoming limitations that restrict angle cuts to 45 degree maximum from straight in known metal cutting machines, enable metal cutting at practically any angle as well as single or multiple slotting at 90 degrees from straight. There is no fastening hardware passing through the turntable or other structural anti-rotational obstructions as found in known metal cutting machines, thus the turntable, along with the saw assembly, can be rotated full 360 degrees relative to the platform to any desired angle without restriction.
