    Abstract: The present invention relates to an exhaust end cone assembly including an outer end cone which is formed from a cast iron alloy and an inner end cone disposed within the outer end cone which is formed from a heat resistant material. The inner end cone is shaped such that an air gap occurs along a significant portion of the area between the inner and outer end cones to provide thermal advantages to the assembly.
