Abstract: A device is intended to be worn over the chin of a wearer. The device comprises a compliant first layer, a rigid second layer coupled to the first layer and displaced farther from the wearer than the first layer, and an energy absorbing layer positioned between the first layer and the second layer. The first layer and the second layer are moveable toward one another. The energy absorbing layer is operable to dissipate a transfer of energy between the first layer and the second layer.

Abstract: A shock absorbing device includes a first contiguous membrane and a second contiguous membrane surrounding the first contiguous membrane. The first contiguous membrane defines a primary liquid reservoir containing a liquid. The first contiguous membrane includes at least one collapsible feature. The second contiguous membrane defines a secondary liquid reservoir fluidly connected to the primary liquid reservoir through an orifice. The second contiguous membrane is impermeable. In a first state, the first contiguous membrane is in a first expanded position. In a second state, the first contiguous membrane is in a second compressed position. The first contiguous membrane is compressible upon an impact thereby transferring the liquid from the primary liquid reservoir through the orifice to the secondary liquid reservoir and dissipating the impact.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a light therapy apparatus, system, and method to deliver light to a body organ, e.g., to directly contact the skin such as a scalp, via one or more light guides in therapeutic dosages from one or more light sources operating in a variety of wavelengths. One or more illumination assemblies may be fixedly coupled to two or more panel assemblies operably coupled to a substructure. The panel assemblies may be acted upon by one or more actuators to move the panel assemblies resulting in conformal contact with the body organ from a first position to a second position. The actuator may comprise a cable coupled to a motor, the cable operably coupled to each panel assembly, so that upon activation of the motor, the panel assemblies each move inwardly in an independent direction with respect to each other to conform to the body organ.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a product from a flexible tube includes a shell and a dispensing apparatus that is positioned within a dispenser opening defined within the shell. A mouthpiece is attached to the shell and is in fluid communication with the dispenser opening and with the flexible tube when the flexible tube is positioned within the dispenser opening. Operation of the dispensing apparatus causes the product within the flexible tube to be dispensed from the flexible tube and expelled from the dispenser through the mouthpiece.
