Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a novel process for the synthesis of stereospecific compounds of Vitamin K2 group in general and Vitamin K2-7. The present disclosure further discloses novel intermediates useful in the synthesis of stereospecific Vitamin K2-7. Compounds of the Vitamin K2 group obtained are crystalline and exhibit well defined melting points.

Abstract: Dental articulators for use with dental models are described. In one embodiment, a dental articulator may include a fixed portion configured to be fixedly coupled to a dental model. The fixed portion may have a first coupling. The dental articulator may also include a removable portion configured to be coupled to a hinge. The removable portion may have a second coupling configured to be removably coupled to the first coupling.

Abstract: A casting tray and a base provide a dental model mounting device. The casting tray supports the dental model with a plurality of protrusions that extend into the dental model casting material. The casting tray snaps in and out of the base. The base has a socket for mounting on a dental articulator. The casting tray can be removed from the base, segmented, and reintegrated and realigned by snapping the segmented pieces back in the base.

This embodiment includes an indicator forming portion sized and positioned to form an indicator on a mold produced by at least partially filling the cavity with investment and allowing the investment to harden. In some instances the casting ring may have a lower segment sized and dimensioned to surround and receive an upper segment of the base to couple the ring and base together, wherein, the casting ring latches onto an outwardly protruding shoulder of the base when the base and casting ring are coupled together.
