  • Publication number: 20210377607
Abstract: Approaches provide for adjustment of playback settings on a user device based at least in part on a type of content being consumed via the user device. The content type may be determined based on a fingerprint acquired from the content presented via on the client device. The content type may be associated with one or more associated playback settings based on properties of the content type, which may be stored in a content profile. • Publication number: 20210006870
Abstract: A method includes detecting an object embedded in a first media data, generating a descriptor of the detected object, and associating a second content identification data with a first content identification data and the descriptor of the embedded object. The first content identification data is generated from a first fingerprint data generated from a first media data including: video data and/or associated audio data, and the second content identification data is generated based on processing a second fingerprint data associated with a networked device generated from a second media data. The networked device is capable of being associated with a client device configured to: constrain an executable environment in a security sandbox, and execute a sandboxed application in the executable environment. The method also includes identifying content to be transmitted to the sandboxed application of the client device based on a relevancy factor including the descriptor of the detected object.

  • Publication number: 20200213682
Abstract: A method of an attribution server is disclosed. The method includes determining that one or more request(s) is received through the computer network from a first device based on accessing first data related to renderings of a first content on the first device, and determining rendering of a second content on a second device based on accessing second data related to renderings of content on the second device. The method also includes determining that the first content and the second content are related, determining likely association of the first device and the second device with a same user, and determining that the same user is likely to have rendered the second content on the second device based on exposure thereof to the first content on the first device.

  • Publication number: 20200162577
Abstract: A server includes a memory, and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to execute instructions to receive a request for content for a client device, match a targeted data to the identification information based on a relevancy factor, and provide the targeted data to a sandboxed application of the client device configured to render the targeted data. The request includes identification information, which is a user identification information or a device identification information for the client device. The identification information is associated with a content identification data or a content identification history generated from preliminary data generated by a networked device associated with the client device.

  • Publication number: 20200058019
Abstract: Approaches presented herein provide for the management of viewership data, including contractual terms and transaction history, through immutable distributed ledgers, such as blockchain. Temporary identifiers can be used to store viewership data for a viewer to one of these public, distributed ledgers. A physical device identifier is associated with a media device. An identity manager generates and rotates temporary public identifiers that are mapped to the physical identifier of the device. Viewership data from the device and the related temporary identifiers are stored on the public distributed ledger. The identity manager receives a contract to provide viewership data of media device over a particular period. The identity manager supplies the temporary identifiers of the media device over the period specified.

  • Patent number: 10567823
Abstract: A method, apparatus and/or system related to relevant advertisement generation based on a user operating a client device communicatively coupled with a networked media device are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method includes determining that a user is likely viewing a networked media device and/or accessing a client device while viewing the networked media device, determining that the content currently being displayed on the networked media device is associated with a motion-video advertisement through an automatic content recognition algorithm applied to the networked media device, selecting an alphanumeric advertisement formatted for a display area of the client device based on contextual match between the motion-video advertisement and/or the alphanumeric advertisement, and/or delivering the alphanumeric advertisement to the client device while the motion-video advertisement is still rendering on the networked media device.

  • Publication number: 20190268439
Abstract: A system includes a networked device configured to: receive a first data stream and generate a first fingerprint data therefrom. The system also includes a content identification server to: receive a second data stream and metadata associated therewith, generate a second fingerprint data from the second data stream, generate reference primary data based on the second fingerprint data and the metadata, generate a primary data for the networked device based on the reference primary data and a comparison between the first fingerprint data and the second fingerprint data, and enable association of the networked device with a user identifier associated with a client device based on the primary data for the networked device. The primary data is any one of: a content identification data and a content identification history of the networked device.

  • Patent number: 10074108
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system annotation of meta-data through a capture infrastructure are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of a client device includes applying an automatic content recognition algorithm to determine a content identifier of an audio-visual data. The client device then associates the content identifier with an advertisement data based on a semantic correlation between a meta-data of the advertisement provided by a content provider and/or the content identifier. A capture infrastructure annotates the audio-visual data with a brand name and/or a product name by comparing entries in the master database with a closed captioning data of the audio-visual data and/or through an application of an optical character recognition algorithm in the audio-visual data. The content identifier may involve a music identification, an object identification, a facial identification, and/or a voice identification.
