Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for performing a consolidated pick and package process in a materials handling center. A computing environment may be employed to generate a batch of a plurality of items to be picked and packaged in fulfillment of a plurality of orders in the materials handling center. Shipping labels corresponding to items in the orders may be generated, wherein the shipping labels comprise pick information that aids a person in locating a corresponding one of the items in the materials handling center and packaging the corresponding one of the items in suitable packaging. A fulfillment cart may be employed by an operator in performing the consolidated pick and package process.

Abstract: An audio/video track is downloaded over an electronic network. Initially, a request for an audio/video track is received from a device connected to an electronic network. An identification code corresponding to the device which distinguishes the device from other devices on the network is obtained, and the audio/video track is encrypted using an encryption key that is based on the identification code corresponding to the device, so as to obtain an encrypted audio/video track. The encrypted audio/video track is then transferred to the device over the electronic network. At the receiving end, an apparatus is provided for downloading an audio/video track over a network, the apparatus including means for connecting to a network and means for storing an identification code that distinguishes the apparatus from other apparatuses connected to the network. An audio/video track is requested over the network and then the audio/video track is received in an encrypted format.

Abstract: Provided is a technique for entering a file selection by simultaneously displaying a first region, a second region and a third region. Displayed on the first region is a list of categories of files. A first selection of one of the displayed categories is then input, so as to identify a selected category. In response to the first selection, a list of the files in the selected category is displayed on the second region. Thereafter, a second selection of one of the files displayed on the second region is input, so as to identify a selected file. Then, in response to the second selection, a name for the selected track is displayed on the third region.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus for storing, playing and downloading audio/video tracks, the apparatus including: (a) means for connecting to a communications network; (b) means for receiving, over the communications network, availability information identifying audio/video tracks that are available for purchase; (c) means for displaying such availability information; (d) means for inputting a user selection of an audio/video track from such availability information, so as to obtain a selected audio/video track; (e) means for downloading the selected audio/video track over the communications network; (f) means for storing the selected audio/video track downloaded by means (e); (g) means for reading the selected audio/video track from means (f); (h) means for playing the selected audio/video track read by means (g) so as to generate an audio/video signal; and (i) means for providing the audio/video signal generated by means (h) to a home stereo system.
