  • Publication number: 20230384275
Abstract: A method of optimizing a design parameter for an adsorption column includes developing a first kinetic model and a Linear Driving Force model for a chromatography and ion exchange based adsorption process. Both analytical solutions to the first kinetic model and the Linear Driving Force model are then used to determine an optimal range of the design parameter.

  • Publication number: 20220355250
Abstract: Systems and methods for separating a liquid mixture are disclosed. A membrane is first soaked by the liquid mixture via dynamic soaking to reach steady state. During the soaking process, the flow rate of the liquid mixture is increased at a flow rate ramp, the temperature is increased at a temperature ramp, and the pressure drop is increased at a pressure drop ramp. After the soaking process, the liquid mixture is separated by the membrane under optimized conditions to produce a permeate and a retentate.

  • Patent number: 11456717
Abstract: An analog front end device comprises three transformers. A first transformer has a first input configured to receive an input signal and first and second outputs. The second and third transformers comprise a secondary stage coupled to the first and second outputs. The second transformer has a second input coupled to the first output, a third output coupled to a first device output, and a fourth output coupled to a second device output. The third transformer has a third input coupled to the second output, a fifth output coupled to the second device output, and a sixth output coupled to the first device output. The phase imbalances of the second and third transformers are substantially the same, and the amplitude imbalances of the second and third transformers are substantially the same.

  • Publication number: 20220288554
Abstract: A swirler includes a base and one or more fins coupled to the base. The swirler also includes a distribution member configured to divert or guide fluid. In some implementations, the distribution member includes an annular member coupled to the base and positioned at least partially around the longitudinal axis. The swirler may be included in an adsorption column.

  • Publication number: 20220062824
Abstract: Systems and methods for dehydrating a mixture of organic liquid and water are disclosed. A mixture of the organic liquid and water is fed to a membrane. The mixture is then subjected to process conditions sufficient to cause pervaporation. A permeate comprising a higher weight percentage of water than the weight percentage of water in the mixture is recovered. A retentate comprising a higher weight percentage of organic liquid than the weight percentage of the organic liquid in the mixture is also recovered.
