  • Publication number: 20240131340
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating and/or applying an adjustment for one or more parameters of a neuromodulation therapy of a user are provided. One or more physiological-based inputs of the user may be received and a therapy response score may be determined based on the one or more physiological-based inputs. At least one adjustment for one or more parameters of the neuromodulation therapy may be generated based on the therapy response score.

  • Patent number: 10022134
Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment, a device for performing an angled craniotome includes an elongate handle, a footplate, a stem, and an elongate cutting bit. The elongate handle extends in a vertical direction. The footplate is spaced apart from the elongate handle and defines a plane generally perpendicular to the vertical direction. The footplate is offset from the handle in a horizontal direction where the horizontal direction is perpendicular to the vertical direction. The stem has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is coupled to the handle and the distal end is coupled to the footplate. The stem extends from the handle at an oblique angle in the horizontal direction relative to the handle. The elongate cutting bit is coupled to the handle and extends from the handle toward the footplate at the oblique angle in the horizontal direction relative to the handle.

  • Patent number: 8043212
Abstract: A method for providing treatment at or near a cervical region of the spine of a patient is provided. An incision is formed in the skin of a patient above the cervical region. An elongate body is inserted into the patient through the incision, the elongate body having a distal portion, a proximal portion, an outer surface, and an inner surface, the inner surface defining a passage extending through the elongate body. The elongate body is advanced until a distal end thereof resides at or near the cervical region of the spine. The size of the passage in the distal portion is increased relative to the size of the proximal portion.

  • Patent number: 7833174
Abstract: A method and apparatus (10) for advancing a device (12) underneath the skin (102) in a mammalian body comprises a casing (50) made of a magnetic material. The casing (50) has a closed tip (64) at one end and an aperture (65) in an opposite end. The casing (50) includes an annular inner surface (70) that defines a cavity (76) within the casing for receiving a device (12) that projects through the aperture (65). The casing (50) further includes structure for attaching to the device (12). The casing (50) is operable to advance the device (12) through tissue (100) underlying the skin (102) in response to movement of a magnetic field across the skin.
