  • Patent number: 9860814
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for managing inter-system interference performed by a network element (800; 900) in a victim cellular communication system (1) comprising a serving cell (3) serving a victim radio device (900A). The method comprises determining that the downlink (DL) reception quality of signals from the serving cell at the victim radio device is below a predetermined first threshold, implying poor DL radio signal quality. The method also comprises determining that the DL signal strength of signals from the serving cell at the victim radio device is above a predetermined second threshold, implying that the poor DL radio signal quality is due to either intra-system interference from DL signaling within said victim system, or to inter-system interference from UL signaling in an aggressor system.

  • Publication number: 20170343630
Abstract: A method for supplying electrical power to a gradient amplifier that drives a gradient coil for a magnetic resonance imaging system is provided. The method includes predicting a gradient voltage required to drive the gradient coil for a scan based at least in part on a gradient coil model. The method further includes calculating a voltage set point for a power supply based at least in part on the predicted gradient voltage. The method further includes providing electrical power to the gradient amplifier via the power supply based at least in part on the calculated voltage set point. The gradient coil model is based at least in part on historical data acquired prior to the scan.

  • Patent number: 9596695
Abstract: Devices and methods for reducing interference in a communication network including a first node and a first node coverage area, a second closed subscriber group (CSG) node located within the first node coverage area, and one or more user equipment (UE) devices located within the first node coverage area are provided. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving link quality measurement information from the one or more UE devices and determining if a link quality value for a UE device is below a predetermined link quality threshold value and is caused by the second CSG node. If both conditions are true, if the UE device is a member of the second CSG node, and if the first UE device does not include interference cancellation capability, the method further includes instructing the second CSG node to mute transmission causing interference for the UE device.

  • Publication number: 20170034177
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods and systems are provided for controlling access to restricted customer data (RCD) by a computer associated with a particular user of an enterprise while the particular user is interacting with a particular customer. The RCD is associated with the particular customer and stored in an enterprise database. An enterprise server (ES) monitors for an indication that the particular customer has sent a request to interact with a user of the enterprise. In response to receiving the indication at the ES, the ES can determine that the particular user accepted the request. The ES can then automatically modify the particular user's access privileges grant access to the RCD. When the ES receives another indication that interaction with the particular customer has ended, the ES can automatically revoke the particular user's access to the RCD.

  • Publication number: 20160314541
Abstract: Systems and methods for sharing billing information across at least two organizations in an integrated manner are described. A physical node may receive a request for authorization for a user in an organization to access an individual's information in another organization. The request may be logged. The physical node may determine whether the user is authorized to access the individual's information and, if it is, provide appropriate access. Also disclosed is an integrated web application and system which includes the core plan, budget, service authorizations, service documentation, claims, and communications of an individual under care and allows for calculated access and communication with external authorization and payment systems.

  • Publication number: 20080249833
Abstract: A method and a system for targeted advertising via mobile terminals are provided. Advertisements and advertising parameters are received from an advertising network. A mobile terminal is selected based on the advertising parameters, user profile information and details of mobile terminals. The advertisement is then sent to the mobile terminal at an appropriate time. The advertisement can be an image, an audio, a video, an audio-video, text, a link to a WAP site, and the like. Further, the advertisement may be sent to the mobile terminal depending on the content of a message being sent.
