    Abstract: The invention provides a sealing strip and a frame, for instance a door frame, for use therewith. The frame includes a groove, to receive the strip, which is integrally formed in the material of the frame and which is so positioned and orientated that the strip is retained in an optimum position for firm contact by, and sealing with a closure, such as a door, to provide a barrier against passage therethrough of moisture, foreign matter, sound and heat.
