  • Patent number: 11483183
Abstract: A device, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium to perform a method of blind equalization implemented by a filter bank multi-carrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (FBMC-OQAM) transmission system. A first matrix W is obtained by dividing a second matrix V by a receiver waveform matrix G. The second matrix V is obtained by calculating a total objective function J until the total objective function J is either constant or below a threshold error margin. The calculation of the total objective function J includes iterating calculations with a plurality of combination of a frequency bin p and a time slot q. Weights of the obtained first matrix W are applied to an equalizer. A received signal in the equalizer is processed using the applied weights. The weights of the obtained first matrix W are configured to minimize a total outage probability Pout, TOTAL.

  • Patent number: 11311793
Abstract: A mechanical lock box comprising a housing including a lid and a hook fastener attached to the lid and a 3D multi-level printed maze. A release chamber is located within the maze and a ball is enclosed in the maze. The mechanical lock box further includes a hook bar having a first hook bar end which pivotally connects to a pivot box in the maze and a second hook bar end having a lock hook configured to engage with the hook fastener to hold the lid in a locked position. A hook pusher is configured to pivot the hook bar to unlock the lid when the ball pushes against the hook pusher.

  • Patent number: 11210969
Abstract: An educational tool for testing and demonstrating center of gravity based control. The educational tool includes a swing, a rod assembly operatively connected to the swing, a motor operatively connected to the rod assembly, at least one encoder for generating position signals, an interface box operatively connected to the motor and the encoder, and a computing device operatively connected to the interface box. The computing device receives the position signals from the interface box, analyze the position signals to determine a center of gravity of the swing and the rod assembly, and generate motor control signals to adjust the swing and the rod assembly to a stable pose. The interface box transmits the motor control signals to the motor and transmits the position signals from the encoder to the computing device.
