Abstract: A technique for generating and presenting customized information related to a rate in response to a survey request is described. The techniques include backend processes and architectures that allow for generating customized information related to the retrieval, modeling, and population of certain data fields during the customer evaluation process as during the process of requesting a quote for products or services. The process includes accessing property information of a property from a plurality of sources; computing a rate for the property based on the property information; accessing internal data with attributes related to the property information from a database comprising historical transactions resulting from previous rate requests; generating a customized message based on the internal data; and generating a graphical user interface that presents the rate with the customized message.

Abstract: A technique for automating the process of populating certain data fields of a customer survey. The techniques include backend processes and architectures that allow for the retrieval, modeling, and population of certain data fields during the customer evaluation process as during the process of requesting a quote for products or services. The process includes receiving identifying information for property and using the property identifying information to request additional data about the property from at least one source of property information. The responses are normalized to a predetermined data format and mapped to predetermined fields of a pre-fill template which is then presented to a user's display device as a part of the customer survey. Data conflicts from the information sources are resolved using preestablished business rules determining which information source has priority and the pre-fill template is updated from the information source having priority.

Abstract: A polymer lid for capping the mouth of a PET bottle having a neck with a male thread, the lid comprising a threaded female cylindrical section for engaging the male thread of the neck; an outer surface comprising an arcuate skirt consisting of at least three quarters (270°) of a torroidal cylindrical section around the female cylindrical section; and further consisting of a protrusion having first and second surfaces than meet at an apex whose maximum extension protrudes between 1 mm and 5 mm from the inner cylindrical female surface; the protrusion for engagement by a thumb of a person attempting to open the bottle, enabling increased torque in a counter-clockwise direction for removal of the lid from a PET bottle.
