When the handle is loosened, the tool head can rotate relative to the motor housing and the handle can be rotated relative to the power tool. When the handle is tightened, the tool head does not rotate relative to the motor housing and the handle does not rotate relative to the power tool. The adjustable handle allows the user to easily reconfigure the power tool for use in confined spaces or special applications.
