  • Patent number: 9633569
Abstract: A computer system for managing toilet training of a person is provided. The computer system includes a memory device, a display device, and a processor in communication with the memory device and the display device. The processor is programmed to receive a first trigger event associated with a toilet training event. The processor is also programmed to display, on the display device, a first multi-media presentation based at least in part on said receipt of the first trigger event. The processor is further programmed to collect feedback data from a user. The processor is also programmed to store the feedback data in the memory device.

Inventors: Marcille Faye Ruman, Kelly Wade Jackson, Adam Howard Dreyer, Aster Ellen Kammrath, Larry Edgerton Brown, Yan Luo
  • Patent number: 9278033
Abstract: An absorbent article facilitating sensing the presence of a body exudate in the absorbent article includes an absorbent member; a sensor coil disposed on or in the article; and an electrical double-layer capacitor disposed on or in the article and in electrical communication with the sensor coil, wherein the capacitor is in fluid communication with the absorbent member. An absorbent article system also includes a detector circuit including an exciter coil configured for electromagnetic communication with the sensor coil, and sensor electronics configured to indicate the presence of a body exudate based on changes in the electromagnetic communication between the exciter coil and the sensor coil.

  • Publication number: 20140309606
Abstract: The present invention relates to an absorbent article containing a topsheet; backsheet; an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet, the absorbent core comprising a particulate superabsorbent polymer composition having improved stability comprising a polymer comprising from about 0.01 wt % to about 5 wt % of a neutralized aluminum salt solution applied to the surface of a particulate superabsorbent polymer composition; wherein an aqueous solution of the neutralized aluminum salt has a pH value from about 5.5 to about 8 and the particulate superabsorbent polymer composition has an original Free Swell Gel Bed Permeability (FSGBP) of about 20×10?8 cm2 to about 200×10?8 cm2 and a compressibility of from about 1.30 cm2/N to about 4 cm2/N prior to subjecting the particulate superabsorbent polymer composition to a Processing Test; and subsequent to subjecting to the Processing Test, the particulate superabsorbent polymer composition has a permeability stability index of from about 0.60 to about 0.
